I don't think Britney cares what people think about her. Her ultimate goal is to make money, same thing with most celebs. As long as fulfills her contract of showing up for 50 shows she gets her money. I doubt that the amount of dancing she does even crosses her mind except in the sense of "how little can I get away with?"

my mom arches her back normally and she has diabeetus hunnay, it doesn't take effort to arch your back, it's like picking something from the ground

I disagree with you, I think POM is an amazing show with a lot of amazing dance moments, but Circusney gave a lot of attitude to the moves that she did, that's the main difference. I'd still choose Piece of me over the Circus tour, but they're both great shows with good things and bad things.

You're insinuating it is not my circumstances that prevent me from attending (of which I plan on doing) but me just being lazy (?). Why does watching a video automatically make my opinion invalid? I have not been so fortunate to have the chance to go yet. But I am not blind, so what I see in a video can't be too far off from seeing it in person.

And I am not complaining, but stating my opinion based on what I have seen. I do not like a lot the choreo in POM. I do not believe she does much more than she did in Circus. My entire point was to state how POM is on par with Circus in terms of how much she walks, dances, poses, etc.

There is nothing wrong with me saying so. There is nothing wrong with you avoiding this thread. Feel free to do so next time.

POM still have more technical dancing than the circus tour tho, whatever if you like it of not. So yeah she probably had more energy and was sexier on Circus but the dancing, sorry, is better on Pom, dancing on Circus is almost nonexsistent. Bti>> any "dancing" on Circus.

Then of course peformances where she walks, poses etc.. are better on Circus because she seemed to have more confidence, but then compare what is comparable, meaning dancing performance with dancing performance and walk/hairflip performance with walk/hairflip performance. Like, someone the other day told me how is womanizer on POM better than vma2007. But wtf is that comparison? If you want to compare do it with another dancing performance, and not one which is just walking and doesnt have any dancing, just to have a point like "she danced better, there was more dancing... " Whatever.

So, Yes armney and walkney is better on Circus but about the dance it's better on POM.

Then you have to accept the fact that it's all about taste, i prefer POM because overrall it looks like a better show to me, it's that simple, doesnt mean i'm a circus hater or anything.

And just, something that irritates me, stop acting like it's the first time she walks more than she dances or something, by even stating when she dances, like chorus on GM, chorus on BTI etc.. and try to make it look like it's bad or not enough or i dont know. You know what, even on Onyx there is more walking, posing, hairflip etc.. Than dancing, you know. She never danced a whole show, and obviously won't do it now.

My post was inspired by another thread. In which I saw members downplaying Britney's strengths in Circus in favor of POM. So the opposite side of the coin.

I know that Britney has improved since FF. And I have commented positively about Britney as she is today plenty of times. Overall, Britney is doing a good job. I am aware of that.

I love Britney. My critiques do not lessen my appreciation or praise. It is in my nature to compliment as much as I nitpick, as one would say I'm doing.

I've critiqued the performance qualities of a group of young high school students with no problem. I look at technique and their level of showmanship. In POM she lacks showmanship, in my opinion. In Circus, she lacked that intense choreo she is known for. But I do not see the two tours as being but so different.

She was improving during Circus. Declined heavily in FF. Is improving during POM and is possibly just now surpassing her levels in Circus, but not by as much as some claim.

Of course, if you and some others are so tired of us who "complain", then feel free to ignore us in our oh so cynical, negative, and evil bliss.

I agree! But i think POM has technical dancing yet doesn't have the personality britney had in the circus tour, which is what (i think) personally made the circus tour dancing acceptable. I would rather circusney with personality, than dancing without personality or passion i.e. POM.

i wasn't speaking about you specifically, in general most circus fans seem to have the opinion of if you like anything new you're delusional when that couldn't be farther from the truth. whether she's slaying or not, it doesn't matter. that's their opinion, that she is and it doesn't make someone delusional for having one that's different from yours

I will happily admit that I just LOVE Circusney. I just do. As an era, I find it better than this one. But I do plan on going to POM and I am sure I will enjoy it. Once I see it in person, then I will truly be able to judge it.

I'd say POM is on par with Circus tour based on Youtube videos.I love both.It's just my opinion.

 

And i will probably go to POM.I think Britney today needs more support than she used to, if the audience is enjoying the concert a lot, she will feel it and deliver it.She became shier since FF era, but she's slowly getting the confidence back on stage.If i can be one of thousands of fans that have helped her to get rid of her nervous side, i would love to.
