I think it's pretty clear that Britney has several off nights and some undeniably good nights, judging from the videos we're getting.

(And before anyone give that "Oh you can't judge from YT vids", I think it's delusional when you can find several FULL performance videos where her face is completely lifeless and almost sad-looking the same way you could find videos of her consistently SLAYING it) :yaknow:

What is your opinion on this and explain?  :bj:

I have days where I don't feel like doing anything and I look and act like a zombie, so yeah, I completely understand that she can have some off days, after all, she's a human being and we all have good days and bad days, but at the same time I feel like she could put a little more effort into what she does sometimes. But I don't want to judge her anyway, as I said before, I understand that some days it's impossible to be completely "there".

There is a difference between having 10 shows with 1-3 off days versus having 10 shows with 5-8 off days.

Britney tends to portray the latter. Why? We don't fully know. But it would be a lie to say that is an example of professional behavior by someone who has made a career out of this.

Of course, there is so much we don't know about what goes on with Britney beyond the stage. And it seems like whatever goes on off stage oftentimes follows her on stage, judging by her unhappy expressions and low energy levels at times. Either that or she just doesn't give a fuck (which I doubt).

Yes, she's human.

I don't think the "allowed to" word is right tho. She's not allowed to have off nights (like "you can be off tonight it's ok", like if it's on purpose, you know). However it's understable if she have off nights for whatever reasons that prevent her to be on point. You can't blame someone to not being confident everyday, she's not a robot, i don't think she's lazy on purpose you know especially since she seemed to have worked her ass off during rehearsals.

But, i think she could do a little more effort for some performances (like the end of the show for example, where she looks stiff most of the time) if she's in it for half of the show, she should be for the rest of it. I know it can be tiring but it's not like she was doing choreos for every songs, especially since she doesn't even sing live.

As a fan that knows what she's been through, I can understand the meds thing and whatever. But, as a fan who intends to go to Vegas next year, that kind of thing is discouraging. It'll certainly be hard to gamble and pray she'll be on her "on" nights. I agree Britney should be a better professional.

You're right, maybe it should've been worded that way. :yaknow:

I meant like, as a fan do you think it's acceptable? Imho her not being into even just one second of a show isn't acceptable at all if I were going to base my expectations of performers in general. That's honestly what separates the good performers from the bad ones, which Britney in her prime understood. :bomt:  But as a fan, I understand her situation so I know what to expect and where she's coming from.

How do you know that tho ? Because, the difference is now we have tons of videos from every shows, you can analyze everything from every angles, that wasn't the case back then. How do you know she was 100% into it for every performances of every show ? You have absolutely no proofs. Ok she had more energy, she danced better etc.. But nothing proves that she was "on" all the time either. That's a thing i think you all don't really think about, yet that's a big and important difference.

And yes, it's acceptable to me. I understand she can have bad days because we all have. I just think she could put more effort in some performances because if she's capable to slay some performances on a show, she should be capable to slay them all and not just like half of them.

There are tons of videos out there and I've seen videos where she was more into it than others, but Britney in her prime was an absolute professional. 80% for her would've already been 100% for other performers. When you waited for a Britney performance, you really wouldn't get disappointed. There was also an example of her attitude from dancing sessions, wherein she would stress the importance of doing every movement 100% or not doing it at all.

Take this video, for example.

I'd say it isn't as good as the one from Miami, but she is still very much giving so much to the performance.

Sure she's aloud to have an off day, she's human not a robot. Also, while it's normal for fans to have expectations of her, i think some fans judge her too harshly, there could be a reason behind her not "feeling it" one night, none of us are in her body or mind, so i think she should be cut some slack.

Plus, she's not the same girl from the past, she doesn't hide her off moments as well as she used to. Plus, it's not her fault that many fans love to compare her to her past. If u compared her to just today's artist's, she still puts on a damn good show!!

i can't blame her for having off days because the show itself is not really that exciting for a performer after maybe 10 times cos it's the same show and she is just dancing and not singing. like if she wanted to make a change could she how many people would have to agree to that change and have to customise their work to that change as well. that sounds like alot of time and work .
