Why do all of this desperate mess when the record is clearly gonna get broken by Adele next year? It's just desperate, Brit did it effortlessly and so will Adele and no one will remember Taylor even had the record.

Her promo on Twitter, posting pictures of everyone who takes a selfie with the album is really working lol, even fans who were on the rocks about buying it have bought it in the hope she will notice them post their selfie with the photo.

Brit barely had to lift a finger, one music video and a VMA performance were enough to drive sales. swift has to use various social media platforms and techniques to promo the album and drive up sales. It's smart on her part, but she doesn't hold a candle to Brit. Plus, Brit never saw these records or anything like a competition Taylor sees it as.
