Those aren't just stans voting for her. We are biased, but ask the average person over the age of 30 who they like better and they will say Janet. And then there are younger people who like her a lot as well. Some people may even say Janet is more talented than Britney.... so... No surprise in her winning.

 

I totally get what you're saying and I'm a huge Janet fan myself.   I mean there would be no Britney if Janet had not paved the way. There was even a time I referred to Britney as the "next" Janet. I honestly think that time has come. I would perhaps be more conflicted if Janet wasn't in semi retirement. I mean she hasn't released anything since Discipline in 2008. That's almost 8 YEARS AGO!!! And she hasn't had a hugely successful era since "All For You" in 2001. 

 

I think it's Britney's time now and I'm a BRITNEY STAN first and foremost so I'm hoping for a Britney win here.    Would I be mad if Janet won? Absolutely not, she's AMAZING!   But I hope Britney wins.

 

And I guess, you're probably right about the over 30 crowd voting for Janet..  . TBH I'm a bit shocked that Janet is getting so many votes given her lack of recent activity in the industry, that all..
