Holiday season has been approaching and is here. People are saving up for Thanksgiving, Christmas and whatever else they celebrate, so not as many fans or gp are going to Vegas right now.

And any negative critiques don't help either. Such as the lip-sync slip ups.

You seriously shouldn't expect the SAME SHOW to be sold out one year later. It desperately needs a setlist change tbh.  Plus, ticket prices have increased significantly. I think the nosebleeds are around $58

I do agree they need a setlist change. It's almost a year now. They should release a DVD of the show so far or better yet, post it on Britney's official YouTube account for promo. :yaknow:

The fact that the videos are still THERE for everyone to see on YouTube :moorangu: YouTube matters A LOT now. Before I decide to go to a concert, for example, I always look up to YouTube to see if it's any good.

the dates, people is saving for stuff, the economy, thats why there is black Friday and since over this month and time of the year, people like to save for the season, and the market pushes us to buy buy buy, its the season too, but is also i think the show i getting kinda old... you know...

1 - lack of promo

2 - not everyone is in Vegas in this period

3 - the "fan effect" is over, now it's mostly tourists in Vegas and the fans who are struggling to save money for it.

4 - which leads to the point that it's the same show. People who already went to the show won't break themselves to see the same show (unless your name is creepy Alex).

5 - lip syncing (i don't think the tourists really cares actually, but it's more the fans, they may not think it worth it to pay for this)

6 - increased price

7 - 70% isn't that bad anyway.

So, to have better sales :

1 - promote, do a performance, release a single, not especially related to album 9 but  just for Vegas to have some hype, i don't know, there is a lot of ways to promote the show. DO SOMETHIN' !

2 - waiting for better period like christmas etc.

3 - make the economy better so people can earn more money and will be able to pay for the show (obviously they can't change the economy lol)

4 - change some part of the show.

5 - sing ballads live. Pre-recorded vocals instead of 16yo vocals.

6 - reduce the price

7 - (a little more passion from Britney)

I have a feeling "Britney day" was created as "promo". But it's very local :orangu: She could at least make rounds at talk shows. I want the DVD of the first year already :crying3: With professional angles of the whole show and possibly, pick the ones where Britney's doing well.

I don't think fans care about Britney's lipping, what's more disheartening is seeing the "off-day" Britney videos on the Internet.

Thank you though  What are your opinions on it?

And if they happen to see more videos from her less than stellar nights, they won't go.

Whoops didn't see :gloria:

They could at least have the lip sync fails taken down :gloria: I don't know why Beyonce's team was able to take down unflattering photos from the Superbowl and Britney's team fails to do so.

That Britney day is useless tbh. Like i said in the Britney Day thread, they always have opportunies to do great things, but it always end up being a useless thing. Who cares of her receiving the key of Vegas, i mean it won't make people buy tickets you know, if she would have done a performance (not a lazy one obviously :orangu:), then, it would have been a little more useful. And yes, some talk shows and things like that. Not just 2minutes interview here and there.

About lip syncing i actually think some fans care, i care. I would never pay to go to this show knowing she's not even singing live. People who live not so far and won't have to pay +$3000 (not M&G included) to see it, they probably don't care but others i don't think so. For a tour for example i would "only" have to pay around $80, going to Vegas would mean i should spend +$3000, so yeah.. I'm not spending all of this for lip syncing.

And then, i doubt being at a show in real, and watching on your computer is the same. When i'm on a show, on the moment i absolutely don't care what the artist is doing, i mean i won't even notice if "she didn't do this hairflip, she didn't bend properly, she didn't put a lot of energy in this arm move, she's not sync with her dancers, etc.." like seriously ? When i'm on a show i enjoy the moment, i'm not over-analyzing every moves she does. Lip syncing is more disturbing because during a ballad, nothing is going on, it's suppose to be an intimate moment between the artist and the audience, but when you hear it the cd playing, you obviously notice it and it's not really cool. When i went to the FFT i had a great moment, i even thought it was a great show and she was amazing, when i looked at the few videos i filmed it was like i was watching a totally different show. The experience isn't the same in real, and behing your computer. So of course if you're watching videos it may dissuades you, but then, most of people don't spend their time watching every videos of her show..

Yes but people will look at the videos before watching the actual show to see if it's any good... I think concert goers are smarter nowadays to do research if the show is worth it. And no one's going to remind them it's different live. :yaknow:

The event probably will help for the next few shows but nothing long term.

season, economy, lack of promotion. but i don't think 70% or whatever it was is something that should be looked at as bad either, it's still selling extremely well

She's still slaying vegas. That's still selling very well. No reason to worry. They would be giving her a huge raise and more shows if it's not selling.

And Celine doesn't change her show every year. She changes it probably around every 2 years or so. So I hope she doesn't change it just yet. Just adds stuff or something. Not everyone has been able to see the current show yet.

She's the queen of Vegas. Keep slaying vegas like you are britney!! Can't wait to see you on Saturday!!! Yay!!!!!

My suggestions are:

1. Change the show! People love the setlist and the critics as well but songs like Do Something should be changed for bigger hits like If you seek amy, Hold it against me, Outrageous.

2. Outfits: some outfits look really cheap and unflattering like the BTI section, those pants dont fit her well.

3. Vocals: live ballads!!!!!!!!! Pre recorded vocals in every other song. People dont like to hear something exactly like the CD and now every single artist is trying to sing live or at least play a damn good pre recorded vocal and Britney should do the same specially if she is now known for lippin' : "she can't sing anymore" "she can't dance anymore" "shes not talented" and all that crap.

3. More dancing in the show. She is known for dancing and being sexy. Those things made her an icon. She should cut down her "arm dancing" and put more fierce dance moves.

4. I think her attitude is one of the biggest issues. Nowadays people look for a show on youtube before going to see it.. And as i was saying in the infamous -now deleted- "piece of me is dead" thread.. In the Kathy Griffin freakshow day all the online comments said that brit looked bored, uninspired and that kathy seemed more into the show than her. People expect her to be perfect every night because she is a pro doing this for 16 years and she is a legend.

5. Promo! Promo! Promo! go to talk shows and she definitely should do a live performance to remind people that she is not a lipsync robot and that she is actually talented. HD pictures in social media couldnt hurt either, HD clips of the show in social media, DVD of the show.. Etc.

Edit: 6. She needs to interact more with her audience, people criticized that from the show and i really miss how conected she was with her audiece before. For example, when i went to the FFT everyone hated that she didnt say anything but "how you are feeling?" "I can't hear you!"

she really needs to do changes if she wants to do a sell out show all the time. when she did "some" changes people were like OH MY God we need to go back, the army was loving it. she really needs to do a new set list and everything to keep it fresh.

even in britney jean documentary she was like i need to keep it fresh and stuff. well where is it?!??!?! :gloria:

The every day person doesn't do that to be honest. Lol. Only if your like a teenager who has nothing better to do then sit on your computer all day and youtube things.

She will change it when it's time yet. It's to soon to chic age the show completley. Not everyone has had a chance to see this show yet.

Celine changes her show like every 2 years or so. So britney is right on schedule. She's still slating vegas.

If they were smart they would not alloy cameras in the theater like every other vegas show. Your not allowed to take pics or videos in Celine's show or any other vegas show. That's why are are no bootleg videos from any other vegas show.
