Okay, long story short...

My favorite album ordering 1 - 8 has always been the exact same since becoming a stan back in early 2011. Since then, my taste has changed a bit, but I'm obviously the same person. However, my favorite album/ordering has changed a lot since then. So I want to know - do y'all change your favorite album/ordering frequently?

I can't decide if I want to change my list or not. Maybe I like some Britney albums more than others, maybe I don't and I've simply listened to my favorites so much that I've gotten bored of them.

How do I know which album I love the most?! :crying4: confused. Help.

Mine changes all the time

Blackout and In The Zone compete for #1

While Circus and FF compete for #3

Oops and Britney and BOMT come 4th to 7th

cool. :) maybe I'll change mine. Circus has always been my fave. I don't think that will ever change, but I'm beginning to like BOMT and Oops more than most of her newer albums. :eeek: something I never thought would happen!

I never really get tired of Blackout and Femme Fatale so those battle out as my faves. And then, ITZ cause there are some songs I hate. But it depends on my mood, sometimes, I love Britney album depending on my mood.

ATM it's:

1) Blackout

2) Femme Fatale

3) In the Zone

4) Oops

5) Britney

6) Circus

7) BOMT

Not really.

 

It always stays like :

 

1 - Britney

2 - Circus

 

Then sometimes it changes between Oops, Blackout and In the zone, but right now it's :

 

3 - Oops

4 - Blackout

5 - In the zone

 

And then it's always :

 

6 - BOMT (her voice is amazing on this record tho, but i don't really listen to it anymore that's why it's 5th but the album is flawless)

7 - BJ

8 - FF

I've always held that Blackout is #1 and OIDIA is #2. The number three slot usually revolves between FF and ITZ (usually when I get back into smoking weed, it'll cycle to ITZ but when I start working out more, it's FF. Currently 2 months sober and six weeks of working out three times a week have thrust FF up there recently :) ) The rest is a blur. BOMT and Circus compete, and then the two eponymous albums are my least fave (though I adore S4U & Overprotected).

I feel the same about Britney and Blackout: Britney will ALWAYS be my fave album, no matter what. Mostly because of the memories (and because of the great songs of course) but Blackout really comes close to that #1 spot lately. But I have to admit I found a new love for Oops too.

 

 

my list changes frequently depending on my mood, but really it's just because i love all her albums and i would put them all at number one if possible

 

For me it's almost impossible to rank her albums and I never had a real ranking.

 

I guess it would be something like this.

  1. Britney
  2. Blackout
  3. Oops
  4. BOMT
  5. In The Zone
  6. Circus
  7. Femme Fatale
  8. Britney Jean

Notice how her newer albums are at the bottom (exapt for Blackout)?. You would think I don't like her newer work but that's not true. Circus and Femme Fatale are amazing albums. But I will never have the connection I have with them like I have with her older work.

I would say my list is kind of like this...

1. Blackout

2. Britney

3. Oops

4. ITZ

5. BOMT

6. Circus

7. Femme Fatale

8. Britney Jean

I feel awful putting BJ last but I don't connect with the album at all and I only really listen to work bitch and alien lmao.

But I also feel like my list kind of reflects the probable amount of control britney had over the albums. Ofc, blackout was her taking the reigns and proving herself. And I liked that ITZ was a totally new sound and departure from previous records and it felt a lot more HER than FF and BJ ( I don't connect with the whole personal aspect she tried to sell with BJ...blackout was MUCH more personal )

I keep the older ones higher up simply because of memories of them as a child and laying on my bedroom floor singing the entirety of my BOMT tape and oops CD lol

Blackout and ITZ are still tied at #1. Britney is #2. and Circus is #3. 

 

I'll usually go through periods where I prefer one album over another. I'll listen to a certain album nonstop for days or a few weeks. It's Blackout right now. I'm starting to get back into Femme Fatale again, even though it's one of my least favorites. And it's hard to explain, like I'll get new appreciation for all of her songs.

 

FTR, if I had to rank all of her albums, it'd probably be:

 

1. Blackout/ITZ

2. Britney

3. Circus

4. OIDIA

5. BOMT

6. Femme Fatale

7. Britney Jean
