All 39 Britney Spears Singles Ranked From Totally Incredible To Totally Forgettable

The blog "Bustle" wrote an article all about Britney spears singles and ranked them from the totally incredible to the totally forgettable. The writer Alex said:

I was in the 6th grade when I first heard Britney Spears’ now iconic debut single, “…Baby One More Time.” It was a game-changing moment for 11-year-old Alex, to say the least. “Who is this girl?” I wondered. “Where did she come from? …And why does she say ‘baby’ like that?” I immediately demanded that my mom drive me to Target so I could buy the CD single. We didn’t have cable, but I relished the opportunity to watch the music video on MTV’s TRL at friends’ houses. There was just something about Spears that was so utterly captivating.

Over 16 years later, there still is.

Sure, she may not dance as well as she used to and we don’t hear her sing live much anymore, but there’s no denying that Spears still has “it.” Charisma, allure, charm, magnetism, “the X factor” — whatever you want to call it — Spears has got it (and she’s got it in spades). Since she first burst onto the scene in 1998, she’s sold over 100 million albums worldwide. Today, people are still flocking in droves (and paying top dollar) to see Spears perform live in her “Britney: Piece of Me” show in Las Vegas. That, my friends, is true star power.

In honor of the 10th anniversary of Spears’ first greatest hits compilation, Greatest Hits: My Prerogative, let’s take a look back at all 39 singles she’s released as a lead artist worldwide — from the totally incredible to the totally forgettable

I pretty much agree with the list specially the top of it. I like Overprotected and i wanna go a lot. I would put them higher.

By the way, the introduction to the article is just so trueee

The list sucks tbh, ILRNR and Perfume are higher than WB, Womanizer, 3 and IUSA?

Also, Perfume is in a higher position than IWG, which almost killed me lol

I wasn't expecting TTWE to be no.1 on the list, but I think both Toxic and TTWE are legendary, so I don't really mind.

  • Baby one more time (iconic video, costume, choreo)
  • Toxic (iconic, video, timeless, one of GP's faves)
  • Everytime (one of GP's faves, controversy, a response to Cry Me a River/ hugely publicized breakup, Spring Breakers)
  • Oops I Did it Again (iconic vma performance, video, choreo)
  • Stronger (Glee, iconic video, chair choreo)
  • TTWE (one of the biggest club-banging jams of 2011/2012)
  • Hold It Against Me (Abstract MV, Super Hyped, broke records)
  • Womanizer (Comeback single, iconic video, super catchy)
  • Gimme More ("It's Britney, Bitch", controversy, 2007 VMA)
  • Piece of Me (Controversy, 2008 VMA awards)
  • Break the Ice (well received by anime lovers)
  • IUSA (controversy, Fox News bitch)
  • I Wanna Go (epic video with MJ's Thriller and Half Baked references)
  • I'm a Slave 4 U (iconic vma performance, video, choreo)
  • Ooh La La (because of Smurfs 2, cute MV)
  • 3 (threesome, the start of EDMney)
  • WB ("Work, bitch!")
  • Alien (Auto-tune controversy)

These are the ones I believe the GP knows of

I agree with most things, except Perfume needs to be lower, FTBOMBH needs to be higher, and GM needs to be higher as well as BOMT.

TTWE is good, but it needs to be from 7 - 15 or something. #1 isn't fair to the others IMO.

But everyone has an opinion and I liked reading his! :)

:ewomg:

Work Bitch too low, Womanizer as well. TTWE at 1 and POM at 3? :xf11:

Perfume, Outrageous and Anticipating are way too high in the rank as well. I think the writer of the article and I have completely different meaning of the word "forgettable". I think the world didn't even notice those songs were released as singles, or, at all. I love MATM but is not that famous among GP. OIDIA, Circus and BOMT should have been higher too.

Everything is a mess with this list :icantt: who wrote it? Xtina? :wahlykeomg:

TTWE is number one?!?! :fyea: Best single ever!!! :D:yayy:

It's a great track and :icantt: at y'all hating TTWE for being #1 y'all are acting like it sucks :byebitch:

LOL, but for me #1 would of been BOMT.... just saying, but the list it like :wtfff: apparently he went by his favorite songs not by forgettable. :tbh:
