She should change it to "I know i may be a mom, but i've got feelings too" :gloria:

Hahaha this conversation is hilarious! It's just such an iconic opening line!! What is she gonna do? Lol

However I do think the lyrics talking about being looked at almost like a little girl and wanting to step out into the world could be relevant today. And it doesn't seem like she could really do much at night without people making up things about her.

i think it is also like a feminist statement because i know as a woman when i  became an adult  i kind of felt awkward and unsure when to and how to describe myself as a woman or a girl in forms and other situations.because for a long time strangers when they see a young  woman they refer to her as a girl. the first time you hear yourself being described by as a stranger as a lady, madame or woman you do a second take and think are they speaking to me. where as people would never dream to describe a man as a little boy or boy the song touches on the attitude that society sometimes has in that it takes alot longer to accept a young females as a woman than a boy becoming know as a man..

This. Absolutely. And the moment we do something that shows as a sexual, independent, adult beings, we get called out for it. I definitely like Slave for showing how Britney was breaking out of her shell and becoming a woman.
