I just found this on youtube, never seen this before. 

It was a press conference for the Britney album in 2001. And she is so open with her answers and she truly seems happy and passionate about her work  . You can definetly tell after her breakup with Justin with all of the bad press she got in 2003/2004 in her In The Zone era in some interviews she seemed bitter and upset (I've seen a couple of those today) so i loved finding this today 

 

Its a little bit long but if you have nothing else to do you shoul watch it

It's so bizarre - since one of the interviewers mentioned it - that she did the iconic Slave 4 U performance only 5 days before 9/11 

gives me chills that such a fun and happy memory was so close in time to a very dark and scary memory

yes she was a lot more moody and a bit snarky during ITZ press - but we have to remember that she experienced death in the family and her parents divorce on top of everything too. i do believe that the year her and JT split really was bad timing and her behavior during that time was a warning sign of what was to come

 yes! it breaks my heart that she had to go through so many bad things at the same time and meanwhile the press was calling her "bad role model" "cheater" and all those things. It was a really bad time for her and i wished her team or someone would have sugested therapy or something because that is so much to handle and maybe a few of the bad things could have been avoided.

the media has always been brutal on her since day one. This is why I've always stuck up for her because she was taken advantage of so young and I know she was very hurt and embarrassed by the things Justin would say about their relationship post breakup.

It's hard to even watch these happy videos because you know her heart is made of gold and she couldn't hurt a fly. And to think people had the nerve to walk all over her.

All of the negativity that hit her between 2002 and 2004 turned her off to the media on a major level. And then she went through that breakdown because a person can only take so much heartache, that heartache manifested into whatever mental issue she has and now she's just completely OVER even trying to pretend she's into it anymore. I think that's why these past two eras have these interviews that are so up and down. I don't even really watch them anymore. She gave the media so much, they chewed her up to bits and spit her out. She's fully aware of that and I don't think she's ever (even if the conservatorship ends) giving that much of herself to these reporters again and I think it's a good thing. She has to keep something to herself and protect herself. Especially when they just turn everything around to make a good story, why should she even bother? It's unfortunate for us fans but we can just watch old videos when we want to.
