You're a fan of an international popstar not an indie artist who performs in a few bars. She's part of a record label who has employees who need to feed their families. They have to make money so yes, of course she's going to be commerical until she makes a record label of her own or something. Yes, of course, you are right, If you want Britney to be again a puppet and doing everything they told her to do. She hates pop, please see the interviews of her during 2002-2004, she said that she wanted to go for R&B, hip hop... If you want commercial girls, go to the new singers.... you are being demagogue

I think the problem is that you dont even know the difference between commercial and pop. Commercial is just about selling, following the trends to earn money, and Pop, is just the type of music people usually is listened and known more than other songs, and when you say Blackout is POP, I agree with you, because every song, every album can be POP, instead being Hip hop, R&B, Indie... POP is not the sound, is just something everybody or the major part of the people likes. So when Blackout was released, it was innovative, it was different, so then, it became classified as a Pop album, because it started a different era in the music industry followed by many artists
