After a memorable collaboration with Daft Punk on 2013's Random Access Memories, electronic music legend Giorgio Moroder is back, releasing his first album of solo material in over 30 years. 74 Is the New 24 (Sony/RCA), announced today, is set to drop in spring 2015 and features a new batch of notable collaborators including Britney Spears, Sia, Kylie Minogue, Charli XCX, and more. Alongside the album announcement comes a new video for the title track premiering exclusively on The Creators Project.

His most famous work is Blondie's Call Me, Donna Summer's I Feel Love and Berlin's Take My Breath Away.

This is the song I was singing to you in the previous post - I love it - It is a classic!!!

It is, along with What A Feelin, which I'm familiar with because of my parents :crying3: It would be an interesting new direction for Britney.

Honestly, hearing his songs, I'm surprised he didn't opt for Gaga for this generation because a lot of her music involves stealing being inspired by this kind of sound.

It says he worked on her Cheek to Cheek album - somaybe he does not want to repeat himself.. I see this as being a heaven on earth feel tbh..

Oh God, i really hope it won't be edm, i'm sick of this.

I'm ok for this if it's a "Call me" dance-rock type of sound. I'm not excited for now tho, i've been disappointed with Britney's music since years so i'm not expecting anything good until it comes out.

He's 74 years old and hasn't released anything in 30 years. This makes me so happy. He clearly wouldn't pull out another generic will.i.am EDM song. You can tell he'd craft a masterpiece and make sure that his work is far from this Myah Marie shit we got with Britney Jean. I hope it will actually happen because it would be huge, I'm totally up for it. He's signed to RCA so... fingers crossed. Billboard seems to be a reliable source as well.
