Every artist uses auto tune now and days, most likely it is just them getting a pitch change in one section, but still is auto tune. :mhm: sad but true.

I think her team makes her use auto tune now and days just do she fits in with other artists on the radio. :( It could also be when she worked with will.i.am, he's known for using A LOT of auto tune on his songs so maybe he thought it'd be cool if he put it on Britney's voice. :tbh:

Anyways my point being most to all pop/rap/country.,. Artists use auto tune now and days; I don't think the music industry is going to change that for a long time (its the thing that's in right now, no matter how good an artist may be) :crying2: sad, but true!

I'm sorry but being a fan doesnt mean accept everything. I dont see what's wrong with discussing about some arguable subjects. And we are not here, discussing about her life, but her career, more specifically her voice, which is different since WE made her, she's there today thanks to us, WE pay for what's she's doing. Don't you think it's normal to say it when something is not ok then??

If you are tired of it, just dont open the thread in the first place. This thread isn't even bad, nobody insulted Britney. I even find this thread interesting because no it's not a "hate" thread, it's actually well argued with good arguments. And it's just us sharing opinions, if we can't even do that, what can we do? "Wow she's autotuned and unrecognizable, the music is bad but it's great, continue like that we are proud of you Britney!", "She moves like a robot on stage sometimes and looks bored but it's amazing, Vegas will last forever like this, no doubt!", "Her lipsyncing is so perfectly done she's a queen, people should take notes from her!"

Well no, sorry. Thing is there are more bad things than good things about her musical career right now, so what or we supposed to do? Lie? Don't say anything when it's not positive, so the forum will die?

But where would it get you complaining?? No where!! No one reads this, so fine, if you want to sit here and bitch and moan and make other people negative, thats fine. What you should really do: Stop buying. Stop watching. and stop supporting. Write to her label a proper complaint. Not twitter, nobody reads a 140 character complaint. Or just shrud your shoulders and go "maybe one day".. For me, Being a britney fan is believing in her.. I believe she  will change it if she didn't like it, and I believe one day she will change it because she has to. But as long the 'world keeps spinning' and she is selling, and her shows are sold-out, nothing is gonna change...

I think you have to deal with it: Britney is a character, she is a robot. She is a private person who doesn't care about this Britney Spears Superstar persona. They can do what the hell they want with that character, as long she gets home to kiss her sons, she is fine.. It's just a job to her, nothing more. If she can seperate it, we have to also.

There is a difference between being a whining never enjoying negative poster and one who can see where things can change that will help let you enjoy a song better or a performance better. For example I love a lot of BJ but there isn't a great Britney pop song on the album. WB is EDM and ISBE is really a Will song and should be on his album. Perfume is Beautiful but it's strength and weakness is that it stays on the same mood throughout. It's melancholy which shows where the voice of the song is at right now but it's not really single material since there is no ups and downs or high energy. And Alien has the unnecessary Glitch.

And we all do want to hear Britney's voice more. Rather that be making sure Back up singers don't have a similar voice or have Britney less autotuned or have the music/track less forceful but still impacting there are ways to do it.

And we all know that the POM costumes need to at least fit her better. Both the FF tour and POM have dances where Britney is constantly pulling up her pants or picking out wedgies. So so not something needed for a person who needs to be comfortable to really relax and perform at her best.

I don't have an issue with people wanting different things from Britney. It's the mood and attitude that dominates the fan base that makes everything seem so hateful.

I'm not complaining, i'm sharing opinions, that's different. "i'm sick of this" for example is complaining "i like/dont like this" is an opinion, and just because sometimes an opinion isn't on the positive side doesn't mean we cant share it, that's what you dont get. There are Britney fans here, we are SHARING OPINIONS between us. That's it. What's the big deal with that? If you dont like having conversations, fine, but let people talk to each other. We are not on a Britney forum to talk about unicorns, the weather and butterflies. We are talking about Britney and yes these type of conversations comes with it whether you like it or not. The OP probably found this article and thought it was interesting (which it is), so he wanted to share it, end of story. You are the one making a big deal of nothing, there is absolutely nothing wrong in this thread, people are sharing opinions politely and nicely.

And dont worry for me, i stopped buying her stuff since FF, i dont buy and support things that i dont like. I dont watch all her Vegas performances either. It's just that i dont like things she's doing right now with her career, music wise. Doesnt mean i have to stop being a fan, or that i dont support Britney as a person. I love Britney for who she is in the first place, i support the woman she is, i also love her business woman side, i'm really interested with her lingerie collection (actually im more interested by that than anything music related), but YES there are things that i dont like because everything isn't just black or white you know. I'm capable to get a balance between things i like/dont like, her professional life (that we can "judge")/personal life (that we can't). That's why i dont have problems to argue on a subject, sharing opinions, neither read other people's opinions.

The original intent of autotune is to correct off-key notes so yes, everyone uses it, it's not a secret. But not everyone overuses it at the point it makes the voice unrecognizable and/or robotic.

I agree with you completely. I just think people over use it just because they think roboticy voices sound cool with dance music mostly, but other music. It's quite a shame tbh cuz we don't really get to hear their real voice :(

Yeah i agree. That's why i don't really like dance music tbh, there is no soul in this type of music, it's just manufactured music. I feel like music in general became just a business now, it's not an art anymore and that's sad. Everything is about being trendy to sell more to make more and more money, nothing else.

Guys, okay I agree that britney should do something to be reconected with people, that's true. Now she's just doing the things and there it all ends up. But lbr, during her whole career she has sung generical pop songs, Womanizer was generic as hell, just bc it got success you all love it, and perfume IS a heart-touching song.. it's just that people is loosing interest and she is barely doing to something to get more attention.. she's even hiding in vegas and being like: okay if you all want to see me come here, I'm not saying that is wrong, but maybe is WHAT SHE WANTS, maybe she doesn't want to be a pop phenomenon, what are WE gonna do?
