I find it questionable whether Britney actual hears many songs that are sent to her.  It's an inorganic process if songs have to go through Will, Larry, Adam, etc.  Good songs get lost in the process.  At least someone like Karen knew what she was looking for and helped to actualize it versus someone that thinks they know what songs would be good for her.

Omg i didnt know umbrella was for brit, i only know telephone and when i grow up were supposed to be for her  i just dont understand why they would let such good hits go away but i mean i cant really picture her on those songs

Will i am is a producer on his own so im not surprised he rejected everything so he could do the entire album himself and get paid 

 

not many artists have power and control over everything they do musicwise...  I can only name 2 and britney aint one of them 

 

as for umbrella being pitched to her...it was 2006 so it was either gimme more or umbrella.     I choose gimme more.

i remember seeing the video for the first time where shes 18 and fully naked but it was cool... Yet when a 20some britney was naked all hell broke loose
