I honestly don't think she'll perform at the vmas again until at least 2017 because I get the feeling her and her team don't consider the show to be that important anymore. And honestly it's not, she'd be better off having a tv special of her own from Vegas if anything to promote the new album. They didn't even nominate "Work Bitch" for any awards last year while Beyonce got nominated for TWO subpar vids. I'm sure she may feel slighted by them, especially considering that and the 2007 debacle (they knew damn well she should not have performed they could have canceled the performance but they didn't). Anyway it would be a better statement for her if she performed one last time 10 years after 07 to show how far she's come so maybe then (i could be wrong tho). I think her next album will do relatively well sales wise but honestly I wouldn't get my hopes up about records being broken etc. I doubt that's her focus. They're gonna do the promo the way they see fit and I wouldn't be surprised if they keep the focus on Vegas again.

Honestly for that kind of sales in B9 we should promote that album ourselves in social media, stream the hell out of it in spotify and those apps and watch the video on youtube 173839495958382 times to try to get it hit 100M in the first week like some of the videos of the basic ones bieber, miley, ariana. I don't think Britney would perform in the VMA again.. Or at least any time soon. I think the 07' disaster really afected her confidence and probably if she performs again the comparisons with that day are inevitable. I think she doesnt want people to even play videos of that performance again (i read that somewhere years ago).

But it would be great and its the best scenario for her. She wont perform in anything like the Oscars or the Grammys because you have to sing live in those and she never performed again in the grammys after she got caught lippin.
