Is Album 9 All About Pom Promo?

What do you guys think? Would her team make promo for the album, or is it going to be all about Vegas again (you know, making an album to promote the show)? 

IMO they record the new album just so they could keep the Vegas show fresh and remind the younger generations of Britney.

If they wanted to do something for POM, they should have released an EP this year as I've said 10000 times but I don't see it happening now. I guess it depends if Vegas gets extended.

It's not like she's going to promote it But hopefully her POM Setlist will be changed, adding more of the new material.

In terms of promotion, they suck since 2009 or 2011(not quite sure which year had better promotion). I'm expecting another disappointment from her and her team because they've been doing this for almost 4 years.   About the album, I hope it's not gonna be another "personal" album. I do hope she's gonna follow her main idea about something new and fresh but not EDM, please!   The only fresh EDM from her was Femme Fatale, it was well produced but keeping it that way, you know, mixing electronic music/dubstep and other mainstream shit with her and myah's vocals is not typical for Britney at all!   They are definetely gonna promote her Vegas show, probably will change the setlist. I doubt that she's gonna perform live on TV or AT LEAST live stream or sth from The Axys would be enough, I guess.   And that DVD that we've been longing for for so long is not gonna be released until 2017 when her shows are over.   And you know why, because her team sucks, they don't realise that people outside the USA can't afford going to POM. Dude, you need like $10 000 to go there, WHAT THE FUCK?!      They think that if Vegas is THE ONLY place we can see Britney performing, it means that no live performance outside Vegas should be performed, no DVD should be released, not a single thing should be done because it's gonna reflect on their stupid shitty SALES!   Like, people will lose interest and won't buy tickets for her show and that's gonna lead to lack of money.   YOU ARE TOTALLY WRONG!

By doing this shitty strategy, you're only losing fans and you keep disappointing the BArmy with your dumb ideas!   I'm so mad right now.

I totally agree. And no, I don't think you will be banned. We all know Britney's team makes the wrong decisions almost all of the time.

I am really hoping this album will be good. Britney needs to go back to setting trends and having her own unique sound. Like you, I'm kinda pessimistic about it all, too. It's really possible this will be another generic EDM mess meant generate buzz for Vegas. But like you said, most fans not in the US can't even go to POM. I'm in the US and still can't afford to go right now or any time soon. They need to release something for all of the fans that can't see her live.

I hope you're wrong. I mean every artist has ups and downs. For me BJ was a great album, I loved it, but it was an overall flop. If we are in the "downs" period of her carrier, I think it's about time for the "ups".

In the past few eras, there have been more disappointments. There are very small moments we can call "slayage" and Britney fans have to lower expectations even for those.

 

Like what people have been saying, she doesn't care anymore and I don't see that changing. I guess we can just be happy she's alive and somewhat happy after 2007.
