Original Doll: The Movement

Okay guys, I’m assuming that you all are going to think that I’m crazy, that this is because I’m high or just maybe because I’m crazy, but once said it, please, just try to understand what I’m  trying to say to you and If you have questions just write down your doubts.

 

So Britney Army, these are my thoughts. We all want Britney to be recognized as the queen of pop she is, and guys, it’s the truth and this is why I think show:

 

She has always tried to go in a different way (see  @BritneyJeanFacts in Instagram to read easily all the Britney facts, all the information posted there you can find it in the interviews she has done since she was in the industry if you don’t believe it) and we can see it if you go back in time and remember when Britney went to the radio and gave to them her new song from her new album, Mona Lisa from Original Doll (read a nice article where it’s explained why I’m writing this, (because I think the same) posted before by @@Greeneyes85 http://fdrmx.com/britney-spears-voice-heard/). That Album was produced by Britney and surprisingly done without the knowing of her record label, because her record wanted her to be just a pop star, just a mannequin, a puppet who was able to sell everything they wanted because she wasn’t allow to be heard, and every time she tried to be her and do what she wanted she was always been silenced, that is what happened to Original Doll (or it's rumored to be the reason why it had never been released). (Sorry for my English, is not my mother language so please, don’t stop reading and try to forgive my grammar).

 

So this is where I come. If we, the Britney army, are a big fan base. We being nearly 4 million of fans, who haven’t left her (because being honest, Britney used to have more fans). Why, being probably the most supportive fans, don’t we make her voice to be heard? Why don’t we stop complaining about what we would like from Britney, and start helping her to be the artist she used to want to be? And I’m not saying that album 9 is going to be another flop (I hope it won’t be), but since Britney Jean, I’m not excited anymore about new Britney’s music, and yes, we all have heard that she wants to go in another way, something new, be the innovative Britney she used to be, be the one who set the trends and not who follows trends. Also it was rumored that she was going to be the producer of the next 4 albums, but those things about collaborating with Iggy and Katy… (When I think of Iggy and Katy… being politely, I don’t think they are innovative, and I can’t imagine how could they help Britney) Maybe is just an strategy, maybe they are doing really innovative stuff or maybe she is just following the orders of her record, and just being a commercial girl as they want her to be.

 

But what I’m trying to say is that (going back to the Mona Lisa topic, the first attend of Britney to speak her mind clearly was Original Doll and immediataely silenced) Original Doll and Mona Lisa aren’t just titles, aren’t just a name. Those words have more meaning now than when both were created, because is not something about that we just want to hear what Britney recorded years ago, it’s about that we want to know what Britney had to say and what she has to say now, now that she is more a woman than a girl, now that she can see how she has been used, persuaded to do something she didn’t wanted to do, as it happened with Britney Jean, while she wanted to do a Blackout 2.0 and her record decided to let will.i.am to do whatever he wanted.

 

So this is the plan:

 

If we all want the best for Britney, and have the old Britney back, the one who was the best thing you could see and hear in your free time, the most natural famous, the only one who fame hasn’t changed her personality, the only singer who has never had to be controversial to sell and be on the top  (compared with Bey, Gaga and Madonna), why don’t we start a project with something like #MonaLisaHasToBeHeard or #WeWantOurMonaLisa or #LetMonaLisaToTellHerStory  as title (you can decide the best hashtag), a hashtag where everybody will be able to know what we are talking about, we need the media to get interested to help us, we need Britney to know that we want her to speak her mind, to be her.  I don’t want Britney to leave her career, I don’t want her to be like a prisoner, I don’t want her to leave the music industry without trying to have done what she wanted to do, and I don’t know what you think about guys, but I know that this is what we have to do, we have to give her the confidence she used to have to let her know that we want the same from what once she wanted to let us know, what is in her mind. So Britney Army, lets help to do a big movement, to be heard, and let Britney be free.

 Mmm idk if Britney's in the same state of mind as she was around the ITZ and Blackout eras in terms of her priorites. Instead of being the #1 trendsetter she seems to wanna kick back, and put her family first. As for being heard and doing what she wants on her albums, I think that is ultimately on Brit. I DO want Britney to be original, creative, and have control, because the albums that had her stamp on them were the best imo. However, no matter how many hashtags we promote, if Britney doesn't say "we're doing it my way, or it's not done at all" when it comes to her work, than army efforts could be for not, ya know?

 

That's just what I think.

The thing is, original doll never existed. Everything she recorded for this project has whether released or leaked it. Some songs made it on Chaotic like Mona Lisa, Chaotic and Over To You Now, some of them made it on Blackout.

 

And please let "old britney" behind where it belongs or you will never get satisfied. She's taking control again and will do her thing. I totally trust on her so I'm cool with it.

Too bad I can't say it'd be that easy pulling your plan off. There's a lot of members who are tired of fighting for it, some of them say she's completely fine and doesn't need our help and some, well, just don't care. It's an interesting concept but believe me, that wouldn't work.

I know that maybe she is tired of being called the queen of pop, the princess of pop and that kind stuff, but just think about this: when the Original Doll thing happened, there wasn’t any social media were fans were able to support her, to let her know that we were there, to make her feel secure of what she was trying to do, she didn’t know what fans thought about the way she wanted to go through.

 

So now, that we have all the tools to let her know what we think about, why don’t we try it? Maybe she is happy with the way she is going now, but when I see all the interviews, all the media stuff where Britney was able to speak her mind, I see a huge difference between then and now. Also in her concerts, the live sing thing and all those things… so that’s why I think we should do this, just the last attempt to give her the wings to fly and decide what she wants to do. Her team, her record, all the people around her have been overprotecting her too much, making her be shyer, more insecure.

 

I know that the major part of the Britney Army is tired of fighting, I’m tired too, but that’s why we should do this now, it’s obviously that we all want the same thing, instead some fans want her to go in that way or in another way, but I think we all want her to be her, to do what she really wants to do, so guys, please, I know you care of Britney, so think about it.

Honestly, all the things you are saying are getting me mad because I have never hear about it, so please send me that information if you can, but that doesn't change my way of thinking that we have to support Britney

why does it matter that the album would have flopped at the time because people were tired of her? that has nothing to do with the quality of the music, just about britney's exposure....to be honest we know nothing about original except for mona lisa and part of rebellion, cause she never released anything that was suppose to be on that album, nor anything leaked (except for a part of rebellion)....the songs that you say that were being re-used where either for ITZ or blackout....none of them were for OD...and if we evaluate the stuff that she released between 2003 and 2007 and the stuff that leaked between the same time this album would probably have a lot of potential, because the best material that she has is from this period of time....at least for me of course

I'm with you about the new album Don't worry about those unreleased song, the record label will use for a posthumous album of britney, I'm sure of it, they only think about the money. And they have a lot of material for a bunch of albums and DVDs

I just hope that they won't mess with the editing a lot and make something completely different from the originals...timbaland really messed up most of michael jackon's posthumous album
