So our radio station had a poll recently about which artist in the pop world defines pop music and about 81% said Britney Spears. The dj had this to say before playing baby one more time, and of course it isn't exact but close to it:

"You all voted Britney Spears as the person who defines pop music, and well we all know her last album bombed big time, but no worries she's working on her 9th album and we hope she brings major slayage with it. I agree with you all britney brought pop music back to life again she is and always will be the main pop star around no matter how badly an album does for her. Here is the pop legend britney with her first ever hit baby one more time!"
