Selena Gomez performed at the AMAS on Sunday and her performance seemed to be inspired by our girl Britney Spears. Selena performed her song called "The Heart Wants What It Wants, which reminded us of Britney's song "Everytime".  Selena wore a white dress when performing her song, which looked similar to Britney's performance of "Everytime" for the ABC special: In the zone.  It really is interesting that both Selena and Britney are almost going down the same path. Britney and Selena both got heartbroken by big pop stars, both named Justin. Selena Gomez has said Britney Spears inspires her so much and her album "Stars Dance" was very Britney like.

When I saw her performance immediately I thought in britney ''everytime''   the wings the concept was all very britney   for me was like she wanted to do a combination between  I'm Not a Girl, Not Yet a Woman AMA 2002 and Everytime ABC special 2004.

i've seen the wings done several times before Britney though , but i agree that it was britney inspired, good for her
