ooh la la Posted November 27, 2014 #12 Report Posted November 27, 2014 why does america have thanksgiving since they already have 4th of july and is eating a turkey all there is to look forward to in relation to thanksgiving. what things do you do different on thanksgiving from every other normal day. if its about dinner and eating a turkey would that not be the same as a sunday roast diner and you don't get excited over that every week.

It's more so a tradition than anything. A big one lol. It's just to get together the same time every year with loved ones and just enjoy the day. Also 4th of July is about independence thanksgiving represents unity.
