Alien Video

We all remember that time, when "I Am Britney Jean" was released, where Britney, talking about Alien being the next single, said "...By that time "Alien" is going to become a single anyways" and then no one knew why "by that time" we have never seen the video of Alien because was never filmed...

 

So now B9 is on the way, and the major part of the army wants Britney to promote it, to get that #1, but I think we all have the feeling of that Britney Jean hasn't finished yet, and maybe more, it has never started. There wasn't any promo, any performance... also the album was fully leaked, there was too much expectation for what was really happening (will.i.flop and that shit). We all thought that Blackout 2.0 was coming, something big was about to slay us again, and then, nothing. Furthermore, if we add the fact that Britney seemed to ignore the sales… (the whole album in fact) this time has been like just time, nothing interesting. I know that saying this is just talking, just words that are not going to change anything, but do you imagine if now, Britney records and releases an Alien Video, something innovative, something personal but at the same time dark, something like a farewell, something to close this era. I think it would be really interesting, people would have something to talk about while the waiting of B9, something to close and open different eras.

 

But this is just dreaming, and I wanted to share my dreams with you guys.

Alien should have been a single... Along with TIG

Anyways yeah it hasn't really finished, they just gave up on it because it wasn't doing well. She DID promote it actually she just didnt promote it as live performances or anything like that. Just interviews on the album and singles

And agree with you, BJ had a lot of potential-singles material and I think if she'd release it and made good music videos for them, fans would start to appreciate BJ more. Alien would be great, also TTB, TIG, Passenger, Don't Cry etc... ISBE too eventhough a lot of fans hate it, but with a good choreography in video it would be great (and let's not forget the fact that the song has 2million views already on her VEVO channel without even being a single)!

my concept for the Alien video was like she telling a story about a girl who had a nice childhood friend whom we grew to be close with, and we see the girl in her teenage years and family drama, but then suddenly he moved away for some reason and they tried to keep in touch but eventually they lose contact. Then as grown ups they happen to be in the same city and reconnect online, they try to make it but the lady (britney in this case) keeps getting held back by her endeavors, at the end she's like "screw it" and runs to meet him. He's pretty much given up and looks for a taxi to leave; as the taxi arrives, Britney sees him and her face changes out of excitement. She starts running towards him, but is stuck at a cross walk. As soon as the light turns green for her to cross, the video finishes.

I'm still pressed that Britney didn't perform Work Bitch live once on TV! not even one performance...

 

With a little more promo Britney couldve gotten  170k first week
