you'd rather compare that messy freakshow gaga who became irrelevant after 4 years of career to godney than someone so flawless like Selena? Selena is 22, she has PLENTY of time to get a lot of #1 singles. She is already on her way to do it. She is growing as an artist. Gaga is a hot mess, in terms of success and impact she's not even NEAR Britney. I'd rather compare anyone else to britney but lady shit.

 

Not a fan of Gaga but I think Artpop era is just a flop but not that flop cause artpop is #1 album even better than BJ

 

Same like Britney, I think she will rise and she will not flop for the next era (I think Britney will do the same too). Her and Britney seem like 'need' to have flop album and era and then rise like a rocket for another era. 

 

but in terms of success and impact, she's no close to Godney

Godney had 4 albums of SMASHES. She was the biggest thing in pop music, and even then people were saying the album was too early. You can't compare BOMT, Crazy, Oops, Lucky, Slave, Toxic, Everytime, etc. to Selma's two moderate hits, LYLALS and Come and Get It. Neither had staying power - Britney's singles from 1999 are still more memorable. Salsa is most well known for being Bieber's cum dumpsters, lbr.
