The 16 (17 if yo Japanese) track pussy bopping album slayed the world, however I felt it was underrated. :crying2: I fell in love with it on March 26, 2011 :crying2: Femme Fatale definitely deserved more success than Blackout. I was certain FF was gonna sell 3 Million, and how the fuck did Born This Way drag HIAM? and why didnt Criminal hit top 10 :crying2:

Deserved more success than Blackout? :uhwtf: Bull-to-the-sh*t. Blackout was slightly better in many ways. Femme Fatale was more bland and what made it worse was the feeling that Britney did not enjoy making or performing it.

But yes, it's a solid album.

I don't think it deserves more credibility than Blackout, but I think Femme Fatale was hated on way too much when it first came out (Same with Britney Jean) ... only to turn into a big fan favorite. I love Femme Fatale. It's an amazing album and I always find it energizing and fun when I listen to it.  It puts me in a fantastic mood and I have good memories from the time when the album came out. I loved it right away. I think fans are too quick to be disappointed in an album upon release because they have such high hopes and high expectations; so high that they're often let down. It's so silly. It's like they're waiting for an extension of a previously released album and that's just not going to happen. They also care too much about how it performs in sales. Either YOU love an album or YOU don't. What does it matter if other people do or don't? The singles on Femme Fatale performed quite well so I don't think it's underrated in that sense.

FF is sooooooooo f*cking amazing!!! I would say it should have gotten more sales and recognition than BO, don't get me wrong BO is good, but I wouldn't consider BO her best album. :tbh: that's my opinion

Anyways FF is flawless and will always be my favorite album ever made! :fyea:

Yes imo. FF is a an amazing album. It and BO are my favorite albums. FF isn't bland at all-it has catchy songs and an interesting juxtaposition between the catchy, playful or sexy lyrics&melodies and the grimy tracks. Though it is less personal for sure. If I had to be forced to only listen to one studio album it would be FF. BO had major impact on music but I'm always down after listening to it while FF lifts my mood so that balances out the ranking for me. When BO hit, it was different for her. FF has unique things but the tone and general music style is whiteout.

Nah I don't think so. People seemed to like it just fine. Even my friends, who aren't really big Britney fans enjoyed all the singles off the album.
It's what it's supposed to be - a solid pop/dance album from start to finish.
This next album needs to deliver though.

it's completely underrated but it does not deserve more success than blackout. Britney actually contributed to blackout's production :bomt: but yes FF is flawless :queenflopga:

I LOVE FF. It's a bit underrated. :crying3: however I don't think Brit enjoyed it that much in all honesty so I feel like Blackout deserved more success. But no matter what, FF is my 2nd fave album by Britney!!!

Oh honey, it was overrated, the album is just OK, but below Britney's standards. 80% of it was autotuned to the point Britney's voice was unrecognizable , I doubt she enjoyed making it either, I have a feeling she was forced onto it. Not to mention the worst tour she ever had the FFT. So sorry, but no, its definitely not underrated, it got much more credit than it deserved. AND LOL HELL NO! IT CANT EVEN COME CLOSE TO THE BIBLE! (blackout) . Blackout is a  dark pop masterpiece!!!

No! So many people love Femme Fatale and I just do NOT understand why. Besides Criminal (Which I still love), Femme Fatale tracks did NOT make Britney a Femme Fatale!  The only think I loved about FF was the photoshoots in the beginning.

I agree the Femme Fatale concept was weird, considering it was mostly a sex and party album. The marketing has been all over the place for a while now. :orangu:

It should've been called "Rave" or something dance-related.

This. The fact it was Brit's first album to have 3 Top 10 hits should say something. People received it fine.

Britney Jean on the other hand :ipass:

Not to mention her vocals. I still haven't listened to te entire album (and I'm not going to.. EVER) but I remember when I first heard songs like BFB and HIAM and TTWE and a few others.. I kept thinking.. Is that really Britney spears' voice? It was autotuned to death. The reason I love Criminal so much is because of her vocals. I LOVE britney's singing voice.. the fact that she uses autotune so much (esp. on FF) baffles me.

I love FF so much. Every single track is amazing and I think it really deserved 5 singles. It has great uptempo and midtempo songs (Inside Out is heaven). But I wouldn't really say it's underrated, only that it didn't deserve the hate from fans it got when released. GP loved it, 3 of 4 singles smashed and music videos were great. Even the critics praised it a lot.

I think the most underrated album is definitely Britney Jean which is a shame. :crying1:

Criminal is processed too, though. But I get what you mean.

I have a feeling the way she was singing it didn't match most of the songs. I love Britney's voice too, but it can sometimes be a bit "messy" because she obviously lacks proper training. I can also hear intonation problems, which is a no-no for pop because every lyric needs to be clear. :yaknow:
