Today William Orbit posted a somewhat confusing post today to all Britney fans. Check out what he posted below:

I’ve done that thing. Gone ahead of myself in my enthusiasm.

So apologies to all for the ‘tease’. It’s the Britney effect, you’ve seen it elsewhere with others, keen to bang the tambourine and popping out idealistic tweets. Mine no exception.

Careless matches setting the countryside alight.

It should also be said that the place for BJS news is actually the official site.

No one leaned on me to say that, I just feel a bit responsible for stirring things up. Xmas is nearly here and I’m sure that Santa will bring nice prezzies, if not exactly on the big day.

Patience my friends and rest assured that I’m on it.

Even those of you who get a bit nutty about it all.

ps, looking at the heated to-and-fro here in the comments section, I must point out that I LOVE to produce artists. Everything about it. And to put myself completely at their creative service. I’ve no doubt that I can turn out good work of my own, am quite confident in that, but am also ok that it’s a bit of a minority interest. As long as it’s true. There’s room for everything. Nothing is mutually exclusive, and I firmly believe that a love of Mahler and Shakespeare can perfectly exist alongside a fondness for great pop music. One can appreciate Bertrand Russell AND Perez Hilton!

Anyone else a little bit confused by this post? What the Army is understanding from this post is that he confirmed working with Britney on her new album and also that we might be getting something after Christmas????   Let the discussions begin!!

Well the rumors that have been circulating all year is a BJ rerelease, then an EP and now it's a GH +3(plus the Iggy track) or 4 (one with added Iggy) BJ tracks that were unfinished at the time. Now with this Orbit post, I'm thinking maybe this rumor (that has had feet) might have a little truth in it. 

 

We'll see though since there is also the rumor that Britney has been trying to have a collab album. LOL we won't know until the songs leak or Britney announces on her official sites.....

I don't think he is trying to hint for a christmas surprise. I think he just simply got in trouble with RCA because for the past few weeks he kept saying he was going to get us some new Britney news and someone clearly approached him and told him not to. This would explain why he said "the place for BJS news is actually the official site." He apologised for being a tease for a reason. He might be working with Britney but by the look of this, it kinda seems as if he got dropped again. "I’ve done that thing. Gone ahead of myself in my enthusiasm."

Better this William than the other one.  Plus Britney's been wanting to work with him for years and "Alien" is one of the few bright spots from BJ.  I welcome his presence on her next album... but I was a bit confused on WTH he was talking about here.

Im getting tired of him, he never post something clear, he is always trying to hide the things, im done! He can stop posting about Britney already, but I guess he has a crush on her or something, like he post about her almost every week

I really don't mind Britney working with William Orbit. Maybe he was told not to reveal anything yet, and I think it's fine. I understand the excitement of working with Britney, but I hate how everything always leaks early. We can never have a real surprise. Britney will never "pull a Beyoncé" because all the info is always revealed before it's even confirmed, there's always lots of rumors that create high expectations, and then we can never appreciate what we get at the end. I wish that for once in our life they can keep this album 9 in secret, and not leak songs, producers, collabs or anything, unless the date of release is really close and not with a year of anticipation, when all the plans may still change.
