:mhm: Kinda like what Circus started out as--just Britney going back into the studio. Of course, Circus had a better result......

The fact that Hold On Tight was the first song recorded for the album, gives you an idea of what Britney wanted it to be; and that's why I cherish it so so much. :yestbh:

So freaking unfortunate how it all turned out. :icanttt:

Exactly. That is the one and only gem on the entire album, imo. If BJ had stayed in that direction it could have been amazing and actually personal.

Hold On Tight is 100% the Britney that I wanted for BJ and I believe that is the exact song she wanted to carry out with that album. Then Will.I.Am got involved. Britney wrote HOT with her friend and played it on the guitar with her friend before Will.i.am even came near. Am I right?

That's right :mhm:

The feelings I get while listening to this song just :crying1: She sings it with so much passion.. I mean, I don't even have the right words to describe it correctly. You can feel her heartbroken, carrying on, giving herself to a greater force that helps her get through tough times. And when she says "don't let go! Just hold on tight"... Ah... My heart aches a little and makes me so emotional :ummlol:

I just love it so much :crying5:

It feels so f*cking bad to think our Queen needs to be put back on the radar :icanttt: Her legacy was heavily damaged with BJ/Vegas. :crying3:

ikr... but honestly I am 100% on board for this collab. The GP seems to love Iggy and it should go over well. IMO, Iggy will have a rap verse. It won't be like a full duet like MATM.

As long as the song is good and not explicit like Work, it will get lots of airplay and slay the industry!

:bigtime: I wouldn't even care if it had debuted at number 12 on the BB chart, cause that album would have fitted perfectly the "this is for my die-hard fans" description Britney teased about months before. :crying1:

I'm hoping album 9 will be really good.

I haven't been slayed since Femme Fatale and even then the music wasn't her best. :crying2:

Really praying for it NOT to be explicit! :spiritualney: And I don't mind it being a full duet, I just want it to be good. Not about ass, not about "make it dope" and not about saying "oh we oh we oh we oh" :overthis:

My point exactly. Femme Fatale was full of synths, autotune and superficial lyrics BUT the production of each song is beyond amazing. Even the "mainstream" "generic" album Britney gave us, was THAT good because she was involved in it.

Exactly. But now I'm over the generic, up in the club theme she's been going with for a decade+. Circus wasn't like that too much thankfully and it should of stopped with Blackout (although Femme Fatale did its job well). BJ was a mess and generic for all the wrong reasons.

Album 9 needs to be about quality over quantity. But Iggy is the opposite of that, so idk. :icanttt:

I'm hoping Iggy spoke ahead of time and gets pushed to a second or third single release :awkward: Anything could change :xf1:

The original project for femme fatale was something urban. They restarts the album wih the dr lukes vision amd ignore all what britney wanted at this time. At some point i think she hated the album and she hated make a tour for this album. I love femme fatale but i think she was happyer when it was over. It has 0 of britney

Honestly I'm sick of ppl complaining how there pissed that the song with Iggy is gonna be a single ! Like really ? Be grateful that Britney is even coming out with music. At a point she was thinking about retiring but decided not to. Yes BJ flopped hard but that's because Britney wanted it for her hardcore fans only. Just cuz BJ didn't do well on the charts y'all want to diss it really ? For the first time ever Britney gave us an album away from all that dancing and something heartfelt and close to her. 2015 is gonna be a big year full of Britney everywhere BE HAPPY ! She has the Song with Giorgio coming really fast and soon ! He has a spring release so sooner than u think , plus the Iggy collab & new singles , plus new album !! PLUS There's a huge change goin on for POM ! Britney is working her ass off & y'all ain't pleased ! So much goin on for the new year ! Let's all be happy ! It's gonna be a big year full of Britney music and new and better things

It kinda seemed that way during some nights of the tour, but we don't know anything for sure. Ever since her breakdown, she has some amazing nights and some floppy nights. At her 33 years, she gets tired of doing the same thing every two-three nights.

Although I must say, she really didn't seem like she was ready. Everything was cool during tour rehearsals, her body was amazing and her energy was on point. But by opening night, she was really chubby and it inmediately spred.

Luckily, she kept losing weight until she was topnotch for the tapping of the FF DVD. :tbh:

Now, she's been saying "it's more urban"every time she's referring to a new album ever since Circus, and still we haven't gotten it. We got rid of Dr. Luke for "ruining" Britney's concept of the album, and thanks to that, Flop.i.am was hired as E.P on album 8 :iwannago: I would have rathered have FF 2.0 instead of BJ. :overitkbye:

Both create generic songs, but at least Dr. Luke's become HITS, unlike will.i.makeuflop :wowidc:

But overall, I think "the old" Britney won't make a comeback because THAT Britney was living her dream, but got badly hurt for doing it. Now, she's just WORKING; it is no longer her dream, and I don't think there's passion in there. Of course she loves it, cause she gets to act and dance and have fun on stage, but it definitely doesn't spark a fire in her heart.

Or, at least, it doesn't show that much.

And IT'S OKAY! I love her for everything she's done and what she hasn't. I love her as a person and as the amazing entertainer she has been. I really hope she finds the passion she used to have and ignites that fire again, but if that doesn't happen, I'll still be here to support her 24/7.

Btw if she wanted to get a sure hit, she should've had one with Katy.

Iggy's not even that successful. A lot of her recent songs and collabs aren't doing well. So I hope it's quality.

Given this info, we're definitely getting a spring release for IX.
