So, if you're like anybody else and read Billy Bubbles' scatterbrained posting concerning our girl Brit. I'mma take a stab at his esoteric posting to see if we can glean something

I’ve done that thing. Gone ahead of myself in my enthusiasm.

So apologies to all for the ‘tease’. It’s the Britney effect, you’ve seen it elsewhere with others, keen to bang the tambourine and popping out idealistic tweets. Mine no exception.

How hard it must've been to not say "I think I did it again." He's acknowledging that many producers and managers have said and teased a lot about their work with Britney, and it usually ends up disappointing the fanbase when we hear things like "Blackout 2.0" or some other headline to drum up interest. We saw it so much with BJ: it's the new Blackout, it her Ray of Light: taglines aimed squarely at critics and the fanbase to generate appeal that generally fall flat.

Now, this is the guy that used to bend Madonna over to his musical will back in the Madge Renaissance of the late 90s. I'm sure he's used to feeling like he has plenty of leeway with what he can and cannot say, and it's pretty clear that he's never dealt with a management style as controlling and ironwilled as Team Britney. Thus, even with a producer with as much clout as he, even he cannot overstep lines set by Team Brit, though he may feel entitled to.

Careless matches setting the countryside alight.

I have no idea why, but this looks to me like it's lyrics or something. It's a totally disparate clause in the whole posting with no preface to it and no mention to it later. More likely, however, is that it could be a metaphorical reference to when producers carelessly toss comments that are eaten up by a fanbase only to cause disappointment later.

It should also be said that the place for BJS news is actually the official site.

Learning his place.

No one leaned on me to say that (riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight :uhok:), I just feel a bit responsible for stirring things up. Xmas is nearly here and I’m sure that Santa will bring nice prezzies, if not exactly on the big day.

This one's soooooooo interesting to me now that we have the Iggy information, which makes me wonder if Will is producing the lead Britney/Iggy single. We're hearing that the new single is POSSIBLY gonna be at the closer to the start of the New Year, which could be Orbit's allusion to an Xmas present "not exactly on the big day." If not a lead single, it could be major B9 news or something else; who knows, maybe that now that a year's passed from BJ, certain trademarks have expired and Will can leak an unused BJ Orbit session demo (though that's just my over-creative mind at work mostly).

Patience my friends and rest assured that I’m on it.

Will producing on B9 maybe?

Over and out for now and with appreciation and respect to you all.
Even those of you who get a bit nutty about it all.

lol he knows us so well :gloria: I wonder what his account is on here? :bj:

ps, looking at the heated to-and-fro here in the comments section, I must point out that I LOVE to produce artists. Everything about it. And to put myself completely at their creative service. I’ve no doubt that I can turn out good work of my own, am quite confident in that, but am also ok that it’s a bit of a minority interest. As long as it’s true. There’s room for everything. Nothing is mutually exclusive, and I firmly believe that a love of Mahler and Shakespeare can perfectly exist alongside a fondness for great pop music. One can appreciate Bertrand Russell AND Perez Hilton!

This is SUCH a Will Orbit posting, and it really confuses me why he'd include it. I think it helps to point out that Will's always been big in classical music as well electronic, culminating in a series of critically-acclaimed ambient music productions; his remix for Barber's Adagio for Strings hit top 5 in the UK charts. His chilly strings on Ray of Light were always a point of contention between him and Madge's studio execs (tho Madonna liked them).

Have a great week and I’ll get back to the studio x

[and why the pic of decks? Well I had to have a pic of some kind, and this struck me as so very pretty]

Anywhore, what are your guys' thoughts, now that we have Iggy's info to go off of too? I just thought there was a lot of confusion when it came to his post and thought it'd be cool to break it up and analyze its various pieces :mhm:

Thoughts? :yaknow:

What he means is that he got so over excited for the new Britney music that he got carried away in teasing us and he apologizes & he also feels that he is not the only one that does that because there's other producers & artists that like to tease us over there excitement (example: Iggy azalea). And when he talked about the Xmas thing , he's basically confirming that new music is coming January , & for sure it's coming January because he said Santa is coming with prezzies if not exactly on that day & Iggy said beginning of the year and it all adds up to January .. I'm very good at breaking down the fancy talk & putting it to where ppl can understand , if u ever need help decoding something I could help u out :D
