I don't like Iggy because I feel like she's trying very hard to sound as if she's a black person and she's not. Aside from that I really don't have a strong dislike of her music, I just don't listen. BUT like you said you can't deny her reach right now, not like Britney really needed the assist but having her on the song most likely won't hurt her. And for all we know the song may be more interesting than we're thinking, it could be a turning point for both of them. It could also just be another fun debut song without much heart behind it. this! that's what I meant to say. A lead single needs hype, it needs something that cautivates the gp, and as I said on the OP britney is not doing much to caught their attention, so If her team wants a hit, this was a smart move.
