tarotx Posted December 18, 2014 #5 Report Posted December 18, 2014 Lol but am I the only one to think the packaging is pretty? I know it's FFney but her, the colorscheem and the light bubbles create lovely packaging. IMO.

ValetGirls Posted December 18, 2014 #7 Report Posted December 18, 2014 I went to Lidl today just to see it. They have it in bulk, hopefully it'll sell well. Half of Britain is laughing at her for it. This really, why? is it because of the irony?
Nathan Posted December 18, 2014 #8 Report Posted December 18, 2014 really, why? is it because of the irony? no it's because Lidl is seen as a generally "cheap" store
David Posted December 18, 2014 #9 Report Posted December 18, 2014 really, why? is it because of the irony? It's really not a respected brand in the UK. There's absolutely nothing wrong with it but there's this stigma that it's for "the poor people on benefits" because it's so cheap and low quality. People think it's kind of embarrassing for "the world's biggest pop-star" to sell her products there.

Mr American Dream Posted December 18, 2014 #13 Report Posted December 18, 2014 This is gonna be available in Bulgaria in 4 days and I can't wait for my friends to begin joking with me lol. I might take few photos for you guys, if I have enough free time because I am busy as fuck these days with school, homework, holiday gifts etc. But that was very spontaneous from her team to release a hair care line, like wtf? And LIDL? lol But that is actually a nice way to reach fans around the world, especially in Europe since each country has Lidl and the GP would buy them because they are not expensive at all.

I think there's similar thing here in Poland (at least in my family and between some of my friends), people always make stupid jokes about shopping at Lidl or any other cheap store which sells its own products. but the difference between UK and Poland is people here probaly don't even know who she is and will buy those products simply just because they're not expensive
