"Yes, that's right: According to The National Enquirer, Britney's boyfriend Charlie Ebersol will ask his girlfriend of just two months for her hand in marriage. 

 

But shhh, Britney doesn't know -- yet! The tabloid reports that the engagement will be feted at a "lavish Christmas bash" at Mel Gibson's massive estate in Costa Rica. 

 

Why Mel Gibson? He counseled Britney after her legendary 2008 mental breakdown. 

 

“Party guests will include Britney’s two sons with ex-hubby Kevin Federline,†the Enquirer reports, referring to 8-year-old Jayden James and older brother Sean Preston, 9. 

 

Charlie was introduced to Britney by the her father, Jamie Spears, who has already given his blessing, “Charlie pitched Jamie about casting Britney in a new reality show, and Jamie thought he was a really good guy,†a family insider told the Enquirer.

 

Ever since, the source said, “They’ve been moving closer at light speed, and when Charlie suggested to Jamie that he ask for Britney’s hand in marriage, Jamie quickly said yes.†

 

“Jamie really trusts Charlie,†the source explained. “He thinks he has good intentions, good morals and a lot in common with Britney.†

So there is rumors floating that Charlie Ebersol will propose to Britney during Christmas at Mel Gibsons Costa Rica estate in Costa Rica & he had her parents blessing ! But I ignored the rumor UNTIL Robin Leach from Las Vegas sun blogged it . He has always been accurate to everything he has blogged about brit ! Ok so here's the thing ppl are calling brit crazy for getting into this so fast and that she's only dated him for like 2 months . But here's the truth ! Britney has known charlie for a while now , he was her freakshow slave for POM in February ! Almost 10 months ago ! So they obviously really know each other , they just started dating 2 months ago that's all.. But if u see her in candids at the airport then that means she really is gonna be engaged we just have to wait & see . Oh yea and robin also blogged that Britney will be coming back to POM with once again a brand new body !! Are u ready !! I'm so excited can't wait !!
