It won't happen. Alien has bad buzz attributed to it which is why they dropped it as a single despite Britney clearly intending to release it. The whole album has a bad stigma to it, they're going to leave that in the past. William Orbit and Britney can work on something else just as great and release that. The only reason it happened with 'Radar' is because of a contract with the producers.

Maybe his missive on Facebook yesterday was a way of saying that this is happening. Firstly, she said in IABJ (and Larry consigned) that alien would be a single at some point. Secondly, Orbit said he got ahead of himself and is not person to spill Britney news but that was only in response to his previous statement that he had Britney news in the coming weeks. What other Britney news would he want to discuss if it's not alien,a different song maybe but he keeps talking about her, he keeps saying that alien is important to him, she did add it to POM (even though it's never been an official single and it's the only non-single to be performed in that show). I mean I don't know anything about what they're planning but I wouldn't be surprised if she re-recorded the song when he came to Vegas that time and they're gonna release that new version as a single on b9. There's too many signs pointing to the song not being forgotten to think it's truly been dropped by her team. As much of an embarrassment the suppose raw vocal leak was, she can silence the critics by doing again and doing it right without so much autotune or protools (like the original leak of the song before the album came out). It's a possibility (they may have promisedn him that the song would be released and you don't make a big deal about william orbit being apart of the album and then do nothing with his song). I'm here for it if it happens.

I really wouldn't mind if it was, just as long as we get an okay amount of new tracks and it flows cohesively with everything else. And stop with the Orbit hate y'all, he's a great producer that's really excited to work with the new Queen after creating the old Queen's best album.

I really, really hope not.
Alien is an unfinished mess. Lyrics are simple yet effective, ok... but the melody is empty, vocals horrid, overall production is forgettabile. It lacks a proper bridge or a climax. I find it mediocre, it sounds like an old Madonna rejected demo.
I know most of you guys love it, but I hope Alien will die in that mess that was BJ

I wouldn't mind, it's my 2nd favorite song in the album and I'd die for a mv for alien, still, I would love britney to work with william orbit again (I know y'all are tired of him but I have this strong feeling that they could create something better than alien) and she'd release it

I wish, but at the same time, it's like, why can't it be released during this era? Probably album 9 is gonna be full of great songs and if Alien or any other song is featured in the album, is just going to steal the chance of the other songs to be a single, just like Radar did with all the amazing songs that Circus had :/
