How Is Britney Going To Promote Album 9?

She did renew her contract maybe she had it changed up a bit so that she can do promo performances

Er, don't get your hopes up about that.  Britney hates doing promo, so I doubt she asked to have her contract changed so she can do more of it.

 

I do think she's going to push this album harder than she did BJ, though.  Those insiders said that she was pissed about BJ's under-performance and that she wants to get people talking again and make a splash with her new material, so I'm guessing she'll actually do some real promo this time around.  I wouldn't be surprised if she performed the lead single in Vegas and had it taped to air on various shows.  That'd be the smart thing to do.

Yeah but Britney never said she hated doing promo, I mean with femme fatale she only did 3 promo performances, a documentary, & some radio interviews. You do have a point tho, hopefully she does end up doing promo performances out of vegas or at least air it from vegas cuz thats the only way shes gonna put it out there for the world to see

One of the members of the band already confirmed that there are some changes, and I don't know, she has changed some performances before so I think it's actually believable that she's introducing something new to the show.

I don't care about minimal promo if it's done right.

 

She needs a couple of big magazine covers, look flawless at some big events, do an intimate sit-down interview.

 

Not those random, short interviews in London. Or radio interviews where she answers every question with "you'll have to wait and see."

Yeah, but can she do that? I figured the reason she hasn't taped performances in Vegas to show on other shows is because that may also be against the contract. That would suck.

I hope she does special shows at Axis just for some of the songs on the album. It'll probably have to be low budget (or reuse effects they already have), but I don't care, it'll push her to do more choreography.

She shouldn't add her new songs into her greatest hits show until they're, you know, hits

I don't think she necessarily hates promo performances, I think she just prefers to half-ass things in general these days. And I'm sure both her team and her fans would rather have nothing at all than a bored mess onstage. It might affect her sales even further.

I really hope she'll promote the album, not only with interviews but also with performances. I'd be happy with televised events.

What they could do is film one of performances from Vegas, just one new song, maybe whatever the 2nd single will be, and then release that as a music video. They probably won't but they could and that would promote Vegas and the new album. My guess is she'll interview with a few mags (hopefully rolling stone is one of them), she'll probably do a TV special: either a documentary or an album release thingy on mtv or e and then she'll do some talk show/radio interviews. She'll probably do something with her social media too. But i think the biggest piece of promo would have to come from a big splashy, beautifully shot music video with a concept that will get people talking. And hopefully they have her present at the Grammy's this year so she can do one red carpet appearance. But really we'll have to wait and see.

We'll be lucky if she even talks about her album. She'll talk about the four elements in Vegas again and Jayden getting diarrhea the night before

For real though, they should make it a big Britney event in Vegas when the single or album drops. Vegas is still a huge market and since it's Britney's city now, even getting a small percentage of that captured market might do wonders.

She should premiere the MV on The Strip too and have GMA cover it.
