So I Was Shopping Yesterday...

So yesterday I went to Ulta (it's a beauty store similar to Sephora for those who don't know...they also have a hair salon and drugstore makeup as well) to do some last second Xmas shopping and I was looking at the perfumes because there was a deal if you spend $40 or more on a perfume you get a really nice bathrobe so I didnt see Godney's perfume so I was like and then asked the girl working in the perfume area if they carried it and she said not anymore because "..its discontinued."

Excuse me what? LMAO brinni's perfume is not discontinued and I was like "uh I don't think so she is the most popular celebrity fragrance." And she's like "oh! Yes well ok let's see if we have some over here." Like the little sample sizes you can buy and she hands me Jessica Simpson perfume and she's like "similar to britney yes?"

NO (it smelled good but I wasn't bout to drop $50 on it)

Anyway that's it. I just bought makeup instead and walked out of there mad that someone would make up that the queens perfume is discontinued to try to get me to buy some basic celeb fragrance

Maybe she meant that Ulta discontinued carrying it. But that's not even close to the same thing plus Ulta is crazy for not carrying her perfume since it sells so well.

That's exactly what i've been told here in the UK by The Perfume Shop, Boots and Superdrug (The main 3 chain perfume stores) and all of her scents are on sale????

I went yesterday to a perfume shop and the lady told me the same thing so i don't get it... plus they had all of Paris Hilton and other celebs fragrances on display and hers were kinda hidden so I told her to display yhem better because its the best selling celeb perfume lol!!

So I didnt buy from them, I bought it in another perfume shop and I asked if they knew if they were going to be discontinued and they told me they didnt heard about that! So I dont know what to think!!

I noticed that too when I went to Superdrug. Naughty & Nice Remix was discounted to £15 but everything else was on full-price. It wouldn't make sense for Superdrug to discontinue it though because just yesterday DailyMail confirmed that Britney's perfumes are selling best there so? 

 

I think that's simply their marketing strategy and it's almost christmas so they're trying to flake as many as they can for cheap so people buy them. Selling in bulk. The Perfume Shop next to me still has a full Britney Spears display so I don't think they'll discontinue either.

They have an entire perfume section - high end and celeb fragrances.

It sounds like they know a lot of people buy the Britney line but not the others so to try to make you buy the others by they're telling you brit's line is not there anymore and convincing you try this other celebrity perfume. That's lame but whatever.

Walmart has a few, I bought fantasy for secret Santa for a girl at work, I bought midnight fantasy for my girlfriend, and Walmart also had these perfume roller pens for $10 and they had britney ones so I got like 3 of those for gifts.

I live here in LA and every macys I've been to has Britney's perfume , as a matter of fact I went to macys last week to buy me some jeans and they had her perfumes there , and they had a special u can buy any perfume and get a hand bag
