Laughing at all the people who thought next album would be ooooh soo deep and different.. Britneys music is still about clubbing, a thing she never does... So personal. I'm gonna like it anyway, but I just feel sad for those who hated BJ which was a fine album, and now they are getting the same, maybe even closer to Femme fatale..

Britney Jean was personal? :gloria:

I don't really mind the title. It all sounds a little too good to be real. We Found Love is a classic, if Britney's song is anywhere near as good as it then I will be really happy. I would be happy with Diplo/Zedd's production as well. Fingers crossed. After Bli$$ I'm choosing not to believe though.

edit:

I just checked what this "insider" really said and he's claiming the song is produced by will.i.am, diplo and zedd at once.

bye :flop:

This is obviously fake. I doubt her team would try it with EDM again for an "easy hit". Britney belongs in pure pop.

EDM is everywhere tho so even if this story is fake, the track will obviously have EDM sound in it. They did edm with FF again with BJ, they'll do it again for the next album, be sure of that :boring:

Im not excited at all.

EDM? I mean :zoomzoom: I really REALLY hope that's untrue cause like 90% of people, I will not be there for this shit again! This shitty music is over, it's so 2010-2012, it's outdated now, nobody (relevant and successful) does edm  today and it's not because it's featured Iggy that's mean it will work... I don't want Britney to become like Madonna, aka losing her artistic creativity and released the same shitty album after shitty album.. so I prefer to not believe it

I don't know what to feel right now...  :omg1:

On one hand, I'm excited that it's gonna be an uptempo song...  :thirsty:

But on the other hand, I don't wanna get my hopes up...  :crying1:

I guess we'll just have to wait and see? January is not far away anyway...  :bomt:

Maybe if this were 2012. EDM is dying. Check the top songs on the Hot 100 right now. The throwback sound and bubblegum pop (ironically the kind that can be considered Britney's "roots") is dominating. :yaknow:

People said the exact same thing with BJ and see the result..., they put edm almost everywhere  :drown: it's sadly not dying for Britney's music :orangu:

If they pursue generic EDM (not the good kind) still this era, I am done :orangu:

People like Britney's dance music, but they prefer her with her traditional pop sound more. That is why I Wanna Go still went Top 10 with literally ZERO promo, no tacky remixes AND as 3rd single AFTER the album was released (in short, it fared better than lead single Work Bitch :drown: ).

Coincidentally, bubblegum pop is making a comeback so for success' sake, I hope the Iggy track is Max Martin-produced. They could save he more edgy stuff (NOT Britney Jean "edgy") for the album, which fans can better appreciate.

I wouldn't really call IWG as bubblegum pop, it definitely has a lot of electronic beats but ok. And I think not all of the EDM is bad. TIG was a great song imo - the beat was kind of dated but overall it was better than some of the shit that is playing nonstop on the radio. :)

I find TIG very basic, but that's my opinion. The song lacks proper buildup, variety and lyrics (then again, so do most of the mainstream stuff, anyway). I agree not all EDM is bad, like Disclosure.

I Wanna Go has electronic beats, but among all the songs on Femme Fatale, it is the one that is most recognizably Britney because of the melody, which could've easily been used for the Oops era. :yakno: One of the main reasons Work Bitch didn't work because it didn't have a strong enough pop melody in it that people could sing along to.

Actually, one of the sounds Britney interestingly hasn't really revisited since the Britney era is her R&B-esque sound, like the one in Baby One More Time. They're probably scared she'll get dragged for it because her voice isn't really seen as "good enough" for R&B, but it might be an interesting direction for her, considering it's what made her famous.

I mostly like the feeling that TIG leaves with me and I love the lyrics. :) Ok, the chorus is kind of weak (lyrically wise) but it delivers pretty good beats instead. But you know everyone has their own taste so I agree with your opinion too, of course. ;)

I share the same opinion about WB - it's a very "strong" EDM to the point it's very hard to actually sing too and I once heard some comments about the fact that GP was actually confused what the "main" chorus was in the song so maybe that could be a reason too.

And I would love for Britney to revisit some of her older styles - not necesseraly the same sound as BOMT or OIDIA but something similar. Or something from ITZ which was a very different Britney sound imo.

And who's that ??

He said a lot of stuff that came true. Work Bitch title, release dates for music video and singles.

Could be a complete coincidence but who knows, he said some stuff that didn't happen idk

I don't believe this. Look at all the BJ rumours... and then look at how BJ turned out. I ain't believing anything until the song comes out or unless it is confirmed by someone.

Also, Diplo's take on Circus was pretty simple and far away from EDM so if that's a sound he puts Britney with I doubt he'd go and produce an EDM track.
