Will.i.am Produced Work Bitch, Why The Hate?

I KNOW he produded other shit tracks on BJ and his career before, but wtf, there has been rumours of him producing the new single and people is already having meltdowns. I'm asking, why? He produced work bitch which is a fan loved track and the highlight of britney jean. Almost the only song that was actually ready to be a single, so why the hate? just because the other songs? If the first single is produced by him, would you turn your back to it or you'd give it a chance? Maybe we could get something amazing like Work Bitch

I love Now That I Found You , and Britney Jean in general I just don't want him to sing again on a Britney song, or distort her voice as he did with ISBE (plus stealing the chorus)


Also, I wish Album 9 had another direction, different from EDM. If it's not will.i.am it could be any other producer. But I know it's almost sure that the first single it's gonna be something electronic. What I mean is, that it could be a great up-tempo hit without necessarily being EDM, but I know it's almost impossible that Team Britney takes the risk to try a new sound for the lead single, or any other single.

Well he kinda did the auto-tune voice modification on WB too (I can't understand what she says). Anyways he does have some good ideas sometimes. I will admit though I did enjoy BJ and wouldn't mind songs like that, but ISBE was a little overdone. I'm sure he just has some good song writing days and some bad!

& don't get me wrong I like BJ but the thing is that it has a Will kind of sound to it instead of a Britney sound and that's just IMO.

But in all reality I think everyone is pissed cuz it flopped and will I am executive produced it so they attacked him

But it was actually Britney & her teams fault because they didn't promote it and mostly promoted Vegas , If BJ would've been promoted it probably would've been successful , but I hope and I'm crossing my fingers that Britney promotes this time and promo performances , I she can't do that then she could just air it live in Vegas . I honestly think Britney should explore with producers , Diplo & Zedd are frkn amazing as well as max Martin and dr luke, dark child . I just feel like she shouldn't be sticking to Will so much . She's been working with him since 2011 I think that should be enough already

He wasn't the only producer for it

That being said yea other tracks on bj are also "co-produced" by him, but he's just not a good producer. What he contributed to the songs is probably what ruined some of them. He's also the executive producer so the other producers probably had better ideas but he went and "tweaked" them.

I don't even care about production (and I agree it's interesting how so many fans seem to know so much about it) but what I do care about is overall sound, lyrics, and the general quality of the music. Will.i.am hasn't made decent music since The E.N.D.

This is my biggest problem with him producing more Britney. BJ sounded like post-2009 Black Eyed Peas featuring Britney's voice, which happened to be distorted as hell, not a Britney Spears album featuring some Will.I.Am production. I like Work Bitch, but I do not want another one. It's okay, it was done once, but I don't want her to go back down that track and I don't want another one.

Really Work Bitch and Scream and Shout are good songs in general, but they aren't good Britney songs, and that's about it that Will.I.Am has done for her and she needs someone different. She's worked with him enough, she needs a different sound and a different producer, or go back to Max Martin who has done much more good to her than Will.I.Am ever has or will.

honestly the britney jean album is kind of forgotten by me. i think its my least listnened britney album. i even loved bj more. im sorry. thats just my opinion. i kno brit was going through a hard time or wtv but work bitch is not my all time favorite. scream and shout was flawless tho. and it was also produced by will.iam. i think if brit feels comfortable working with him then im happy. im still gona enjoy her music. i think im more into rock now tho maybe thats why im a little over the pop scene. thats why i need the rock britney in my life! but either way, its all about her enjoying herself and that is all that matters
