Lynne had a lot of bizarre narratives in her book tbh. I felt like she was distancing herself a lot from responsibility for what was happening to Britney.

Britney was in a mental break at the time, it's very possible she reverted to "young girl" mentality to cope with all the shit she was going through. And who knows what other pills Sam was feeding to Britney at the time and how they could have possibly effected her mental health. The important thing to focus on is that Britney is happy and healthy NOW

I know parents are to blame a lot but honestly i do feel for Lynne. How you control your daughter when she is old enough to live by herself, wealthy enough to do whatever she wants, and rebellious? She didn't talk to Lynne at the time and invited the papparazzi to watch when she gave Lynne a letter and told her to stay away.

i do believe that her mom is telling the truth she is just telling what she witnessed between her daughter and sam.  i don't believe however that britney did not understand what insomnia meant. she was just reverting back to behaving like a child on purpose so she wouldn't have to deal with her problems. also she was overwhelmed so she let her self be told what to do what to do by sam instead of people who would tell her the right thing to do like her family.the reason being her family was telling her things she didn't want to do and sam allowed her to escape the reality. i thnk it is important to accept responsibility for your Acton's t blame people
