No shade. But I was just curious about how well Britney is doing on global iTunes. Let's just say there are a lot of dead people ranking higher than her (MJ, Whitney, Elvis, Amy, Madonna, etc)

I look to her Spotify and it isn't as impressive either. It's weird because the Army is supposed to have one of the largest online presence. Has that changed? :crying3: or are people listening to her music elsewhere?

I really can't at people who act like Spotify shit is the determinant of music popularity

some people still buy physical albums and listen to them without streaming

of course, there are a lot of Britney music listeners on the world

Well, that's a good question. I'm not really an expert in this kind of things but I believe are sometimes 'ashamed' of admitting they listen to Britney...

I understand that but I didn't think it'd be this bad. :orangu: Hint: Carly Rae Jepsen is in a higher position than her.

Miley is in a really bad spot too which is ridiculous considering she dominated 2013. Is it somehow their teams' fault?

Digital age though.

If not streaming, there's YouTube and iTunes. Thank God Britney is somehow doing well on YouTube. I just find it odd her greatest hits aren't selling.

yeah but it's not that popular in every country. where I live, iTunes is a very new thing for some people and they've never bought any digital album/song because they find it stupid...

the fact her music isn't selling very well doesn't mean no one listens to Britney anymore. I mean look at her old sales, where did those copies go? people still have them in their music collections and I guess they listen to them from time to time

That is a good point, her initial greatest hits did sell very well.

I feel that looking at this though, they should've released another greatest hits instead of Britney Jean to coincide with the opening of her Vegas show. It would've enticed people more if they could buy the exact same set list right after they watch the show.

We are people, so yeah  :pieceofwhat:

Seriously, I think they do, why not? She has a lot of hits that people like. About Spotify, I don't really listen to her music on Spotify, but I will when the new single is out.

And also, Madonna is alive  :zoomzoom:

that's actually true. though there are two new greatest hits compilations released in the last couple years but they did not have any new promotional songs such as 3, My Prerogative or Do Somethin' and overall no promo at all. I think Britney don't even know about them, they were just released by the label as an addition to her discography.

Mte. :umomg: The buzz of Vegas should've somehow pushed her catalog sales since it is a "greatest hits" show.

Right, why people're buying BJ? What the hell is wrong with them?  :okbye:

Yes, ppl still listen to Britney. Even ppl who are not from the B-Army, trust me ;) My friends would sometimes tell me "Oh, i saw Britney on TV" or "I've listened to this Britney song today and i remembered you"  :crying1: For a friend or relative to tell you something like that is just priceless  :crying4:

People love BJ idgi. Once I overheard this girl in a store saying that ISBE is her favorite Britney song (it was playing at the time) and I was just like  :umomg:  Which is weird because I've heard of people liking it but it did so crappy idk.

That's actually a really good idea. They could have included a few of the best songs on BJ on the greatest hits. Probably would have made more sense like you said.

I'm sure the GP would've liked it if she promoted. The thing is, only mostly her fan base knew about the album and hated it. Britney fans aren't here for EDMney will.i.am style.

Yes yes! It's clear they weren't ready for a full album so it wouldn't hurt to have an updated collection.

She had a lot of hits since My Prerogative tbh. They could've just released Work Bitch as a promo single. It might've done better too because It would've been the perfect gift people could give their Britney fan friends for Christmas.

Exactly!

That's a great point. Although The Singles Collection was only released 5 years ago, they might have though it was too soon to release another greatest hits.

I'm more surprised right now  :omg1:
