Britney was bad last night, that's why they're mad but are you seriously trying to convince them to stay positive using her money as an excuse?

we are her fans, we love her as a person and we love her as a performer,we don't care about her money at all.

I love Britney very much. She's invaluable.

I just want to see her give it her all.

Especially when people are paying a lot of money to see her. I know it's not going to be the same as it was 10 years ago, but that's not the point.

I have no idea what goes on inside her head and I'm not going to presume to - but from the outside it looks like she'd rather be anywhere else half the time.

If that's the case, she needs to re-evaluate if she wants to continue doing this or not.

And of course I blame her management for milking her for every last cent. It's obvious that in their eyes she's nothing but a cash cow.

She's such a sweet person and deserves nothing but the best, but they need to stop running her name into the ground - and acting like nothing is happening.

She worked so hard to build the name and image she has. Why destroy it?

It's like working 16-17 years, building this beautiful mansion only to tear it down brick by brick.

Yeah I agree with this. I do like FFT era and I like POM show but I don't know if I would shell out big money to see it because I dont want to feed into something that I feel she doesn't even like to do anymore

I'm so used to negativity in this fan base, I just choose not to acknowledge it and take it as it is what it is. It certainly won't stop me from liking something Britney does just because the fan base doesn't like it. However, there is nothing wrong with being critical of your fave and I respect everyone's options. I just can't stand people that do nothing but bash EVERYTHING she does. Those people have no business on a Britney Spears forum or even being a fan of her's in general. That's my prerogative.

I do feel sometimes like I am mourning her because she was so torn apart by personal and public affairs and it hurts me to see her underperform because it all relates back to her breakdown. I remember sitting down and watching For the Record air live and I cried so much because I knew that what had happened to her is so beyond what we can even begin to imagine. I feel alot of fans might displace anger and frustration on Brit but we have to look at those who took complete advantage of an exceptionally talented, beautiful, and kind hearted person.

I support Britney in all her endeavors and I want her to do well and I want her to be happy above anything because her core innocence was stripped away from her at a very impressionable age.

Esp the first part. It's a little different when you were there for the ride right from the get-go. There was something magical about the whirlwind that was 98-00ish. Absolutely NO ONE could touch her. Nobody could wrap their minds around how fast this girl shot to fame. It was insane.

umm I grew up with her and i don't feel sadness, i think mainly cuz she isn't the focus of my life. But of course it's a bit frustrating to compare her back in her prime than now, the change is obvious, but we've changed as well. Also with today's technology, people film her every performance, that wasn't the case by then; only a handful would be recorded especially for tv so those ones were mostly on point.

 

Try to do the same job for 15+ years, especially going to a big trauma in the middle of it, and see if you still wanna do it like it was before. I'm not saying that she's excused to perform less than before, but to show a bit more empathy.

 

However, I do agree that if people are paying lots of money to see her, she should step it up a notch, especially in the singing. People who are complaining by watching videos online only have no credibility for it.
