I don't know if this is true but Britney loves performing in Vegas. A dancer friend who's a friend of one of Britney's dancers said Brit's dancers haven't heard anything official but rumor is that Brit will be off most of 2016 and then return for last quarter and 2017 shows. But they were very strong on that they have heard nothing official.

Her life is in a better state than it was years ago, her kids are old enough to understand mom have to work(+ they have their father & grandparents to take care of them) & the vegas show isn't that great.
I don't see the point to keep doing it for more year, unless she truly wants to retire after this...

Madonna has kids too, she got divorced few years ago and keeps touring around the world. Same with other artists...
