Either an up-tempo with a nice outfit and a good dance breakdown (it doesn't need to be longer than 20 seconds if she executes the moves correctly) or if she goes for a mid-tempo or a ballad live vocals wouldn't hurt

Take the three and the water out and it could be a very weak performance. And come on, I don't see MTV making her a three or adding a giant waterfall just for her And no, this is not a hater post, I love that performance but without all the production britney is not actually doing a big thing. BOMT/OOPS and MATM/blackout medley are performances where britney slays the fuck out and she doesn't even need a giant three.

This is mostly armny with people dancing around her. It's just not very exciting or energetic to me... Toxic is more theatericish performance while BTI is more ike dancing hard but you do know she sometimes does not execute it well (tbh, I've never seen the MJ tribute has better energy than brunetteney) and if she doesn't execute the routines then I'd say a meltdown from the fans and the gp but toxic doesn't need to have a lot of dancings but still watchable

It would make a great performance with live on the tree vocals and/or prerecorded vocals. I mean in today's award show performances. Of course Everybody expects Britney to dance dance so I guess end Toxic right before she does her ground break down. She can go into a dance break down and into a new song. Like the Baby into Oops Gothic transition (but something new). Then they can transition back and end with the Toxic throw and a closing pose. MTE

MadDennis Posted December 30, 2014 #36 Report Posted December 30, 2014 She looks fierce as hell during that performance when she wants to, and it's AMAZING seeing it live (the water, the jump, the breakdown) but for an awards show? I don't know. The choreography is sort of non-existent, especially during that final verse where she sort of just stands there. As a part of the show and that final act, it's great, but if she was doing one song on an awards show I'd hope we'd see a bit more movement and not just the great theatrics. It is better than any recent pop performance on award shows though, tbh. I completely agree. They should have added the routine from IABJ documentary for the last chorus, it'd be perfect!

I believe we are the ONLY fanbase that pays attention to such details in choreography and dancing. That's because our fave is a dancing queen!!! The other performers do not execute even half of Britney's routines. So I believe she would be praised for the dancing in general, she would be bashed a little bit for the lack of live singing but she would also be justified by some others for the lack of live vocals because of dancing... Overall, I believe it would be a success!!!

Her reputation is too high there, she shouldn't tarnish with mediocrity. Even an all dance performance would be underwhelming because she always brought out an exciting gimmick to each of her performances there. 1
Mr.Photographer Posted January 6, 2015 #40 Report Posted January 6, 2015 Son...Im watching that Onyx performance and im thinking yo WTF HAPPENED?!?!?!?! Seriously! Someone does NOT just loose all of that especially dancing wise too..so much precision and assurance in knowing her body and movements!...I look at some of Today's toxic performances posted and Im even still wowed because i see that flare STILL there ready to come out 10 fold
