i love Britney to death, but lets be honest, the show needs a makeover, costume, makeup and choreography wise. Not making an excuse for Britney not giving it 100% but it's getting stale and she knows it, which is why she is lacking in most parts. The question is and everyone is free to answer, do you think they could make these changes in time before the next leg? Not expecting changes, just wondering could they be done

They could definitely work a miracle for those costumes, most definitely.

Or turn her microphone on (yeah right). Or cut out every ballad. Or change an 8-count here and there in songs that desperately need new choreo (like in Boys or Womanizer). Or add a new song.

Or they could focus on 3 to 4 numbers to change right now to make sure they aren't taking on too big a task in too short a time frame. :sipstea:

Thats pretty logical, doing a little bit at a time so by fall the show is revamped!

they did change some stuff... she has that 30 lb flannel shirt that prevents her from dancing during BTI

She's so brave for wearing that flawless 30lb flannel and sacrificing her her dancing and singing, the one thing people pay to see her do. :crying1:

They should at least be switching Perfume in-and-out with different, older ballads. It's not like homegirl is really singing, so who gives a fuck? It's such a simple change, even if she just rotated with DLMBTLTK, Born to Make You Happy... whatever. The costumes also definitely need an overhaul, they're the weakest part of the show. Hopefully the new era brings a handful of new performances.

THIS!!!

btw thank you for taking it seriously, i know its kind of been done already but i think now more than any other time, it's really really clear this show needs a makeover

Britney executing the choreography like she is supposed to would be a nice change. Her current choreographers are probably the best she has worked with post-breakdown, IMO, so they're not the issue and new routines aren't going to help if all she is going to do is simplify even more.

I know Brit's headset is just another prop, but I would like her to do more songs where she uses her hand held mic, more mid temps need to be switched/added in. For the love of God, get rid of "Womanizer." I can't with that song always being there and having the lamest routine.

The costumes needed to be revamped day 1, not a fan of any of them, aside from maybe the nude body suit. That's mainly due to how iconic that look is for Britney.

There's time to make little changes here and there, not a big complete make over. Hopefully they do, Britney needs it

They did the whole show in 4 months, they have enough time to remake a whole section in 1 month, even 2 sections if Britney works hard. (especially now that they just had a month break and they have another break again, but obviously they did nothing since everyone was on vacation.)

Choreographers obviously need to prepare this before the break, same for the designer for costumes, people who work on backdrops, music etc.. they need to work on this weeks before the break. Learning choreos isn't what takes a lot of time, remember before the residency started a dancer learned the whole show in a week. What takes time is to create the section itself (what it will be about etc.), and they don't need a break to work on that.

Her best choreographer post-breakdown was Andre Fuentes for Circus era (sadly she did watered down versions outside of the music videos). The current choreo is not flattering to Britney's body and style, imo.

That's what I was saying. There's no time between breaks to completely remake the entire show, but there is enough time between breaks to remake sections at a time.

Total brain fart, did Andre Fuentes choreograph that secret rehearsal footage for "Mannequin"? If so I'll give him all the credit in the world. Aside from "Circus" I wasn't that enthused with anything he did. :/

i could see that happening, but just a question, from i am Britney Jean documentary, they took months just to get that choreography down pact?

To put into perspective, the Circus Tour, the tour with biggest production was put together in about 3-4 months. She could very we'll change a section now that everything's in place.

In my opinion they should take out the Boys section completely and just add to the promising BOMT section.

Well it's not "little changes" lol, changing 1 section is a big change. I thought you were just talking about adding a little breakdown , or changing part of a performance, like that did with BOMT or Slave. They will never change the whole show, even Celine Dion doesn't do that, it would be way too expensive to change everything unless they keep the same actual sections, with same props, costumes..

I'd say we're stuck with the current themes, all they could do is change the choreography.

I'm pretty sure he did choreograph Mannequin.
