The reason for this post was to tell some members that maybe right now is best to take a britney break. Not that critiques don't matter nor their opinion, but that if this is all you do, that everything she does is less than what you expect, then take a break, go listen to other artist who inspire you, write a book, learn spanish, something that makes you happy because some of you sound like Britney no longer makes you happy. Like really look at your past posts and ask your self if you sound optimistic. Yeah, this Era is alot to deal with but if i didn't like how it was going, i'd check out till the next era is a bit more exciting. Doesn't mean your not a fan, just means that your waiting till Britney Sparkles again and when she does, you'll be there!

I swear, you are one of my favourite users. You're one of the few people here who can see (and willing to admit) that Britney's performances are just bad nowadays. I've been taking a break from Britney's performances since the Walkus tour. I remember getting up at 7 am just to watch her first Circus tour performance and I was so excited because it was her first performance after her breakdown... and wow. I wanted to cry. Britney's performances were SO UNDERWHELMING! I couldn't wrap my head around the fact that this was the same Britney Spears (the performer) I fell in love with. I've been taking a break from her performances ever since. Her recent half-assed performances nowadays (since FF) makes the Circus tour look like Onyx hotel tour (Performance wise). This is really getting ridiculous. I mean, I'm glad Britney is happy now. But we want the performer back! Britney being content with her family life doesn't mean much to us. I mean, we don't live with her! We first fell in love with her because she was a great performer first and foremost. I can't with these people making excuses for her laziness.

Ok! I've been to POM and I have a lot fo fun BUT it wasn't because she is a stunning performer or her dancing is great now, but because I was simply really excited to see her (just like 90% of people who came to see the show). So can I complain now if I was at POM?

And I totally agree. Britney being happy in her personal life really has nothing to do with us. What matters is her music and performances. Without us having been supporting her as an artist for years, there would be no "Britney Spears, the popstar".

It's almost like some fans baby her. "Oh look! Britney's so cute with her family, who cares if she is making millions while giving amateur performances!". Well, I care. I are about what I spend my money and time on. And I have spent A LOT on Britney.

This is her CAREER, for goodness sake. And I love Britney so much as an artist that I keep coming back, holding out hope. I love that her personal life is working out, but that has nothing to do with me.

No, she's not.

Britney has been letting her personal life get mixed in with being a performer. Why else can we obviously tell when she's had a good or bad day on stage? That she wants to be anywhere else but doing an interview?

Years ago, she did well at leaving everything backstage and just going out and putting on a show. That's what good entertainers do.

I don't feel like Britney really separates the two anymore. And maybe she can't.
