So do you think they were planing mannequin to be a single?

I think Mannequin would have done pretty well as a 4th/5th single tbh. It's very catchy and it's one of my favorites off Circus. :bigsmile:

Mannequin seems to be fan-favorite but I don't know if it would be a very charts-succesful choice. But for the 4th/5th single maybe.

Mannequin has the dance factor and fun of Toxic. Another reason Circus was one of her best albums. It could have been a single!

I recall reading somewhere in the depths of the internet sometime ago that it was supposed to be the lead single, hence the mannequin choreography, and then she recorded Womanizer and that was scrapped. Which I think was a smart choice but Mannequin could have easily been a single after Radar.

Honestly, I think the whole Circus album is underrated. Many of those songs would have made amazing singles!! I would have loved to see a music video for Mannequin.

It's not my favorite (I think it fits more in Blackaout) but I'd rather have Mannequin instead of Radar as a single.

Circus had so many great songs, it's unfair Radar stole the chance to be a single of Unusual You or Shattered Glass or Out from Under, I don't know, any song from that album. RMI, UY and SG are my top options, and I think most of the bonus tracks (besisdes Radar) would have been better singles than Mannequin.
