I've been a fan since I heard Sometimes on the radio in 1999. I was about 7 1/2, almost 8. I loved the song, and got ...Baby One More Time for Christmas that year. I've been a fan ever since (I'm 23 now), and my 4 year old has before a fan, too (:

I was a fan since BOMT but what made me a superfan was her Oops/satisfaction performance at the 2000 MTV VMAS. I was 17 at the time! Ever since then i have been her biggest supporter!

I saw the hawaii dvd in a local tv channel... i fell in love with her smile, the way she danced and that brownish blonde hair... then i fell in love after i saw her completely blonde for the "stronger" mv... maybe since 2000 a fan, i was 9 :)

I actually remember seeing Britney on Disney channel in 93 & I had a huge crush on her and I was so small and tiny , and I remember crying when I found out mmc was comin to an end .. 3 years later , my mom says remember that girl Britney you liked in Mmc and I said "yea I miss her so much " & then my mom surprised me and turned on the tv and said "there she is all grown up" and I was screaming like.crazy ! And here i am 22 years later still stanning & having such love and admiration for her , my whole life was basically filled with Britney

I was a lukewarm fan with "...Baby One More Time" and "Sometimes" but it was MTV's Making the Video for "Crazy" that turned me into a stan. From that moment I was all about Britney I have VHS tapes from '99-'04 with nothing but various appearances, performances, news segments, specials, etc, if she appeared on TV I likely have them recorded. :umomg:

Aww I really love reading all you guy's stories! :bomt:

I've been hooked on the Legendary miss Britney Spears since 1998, when I heard "...Baby One More Time" on the radio and saw the video on MTV TRL. The HBO Live from Las Vegas concert in 2001 had a really huge impact, I think that's what really made me hardcore stan for her.

I was 4 y/o when bomt came out and i didnt like it that much, same with oops, lucky, stronger, dlmbtltk, and slave. My mom and older sister loved her. Then in 2002 i listened to overprotected and speaking english then I loved the lyrics and I thought she was the most beautiful girl on earth. Then when ILRNR came out I was an established superfan. Britney limited edition was the first cd I have ever bought and then ITZ 1 year later. When the internet speed and popularity rose in my country and the price fell I started following Britney news everyday and I watched all the concerts online. Today I am a proud stan and I have a big collection and a huge media collection

I don't know the exact time frame. I was 7 when BOMT came out and I remember there being commercials on Nickelodeon promoting the song/music video/album. I really liked her and I liked the song so my mom bought me the CASSETTE :crying2: it was my first album/cassette whatever and I remember I used to put it in my boombox in my driveway and dance to it or rollerblade to it lol

I can't remember when oops came out, but I remember my mom always telling me when britney was going to be on tv because she watched all the daytime TV, so I would come home or she would record on VHS her appearances and performances for me because she knew I adored her and she adored her too. I just have these specific memories.

My mom took me to the OOPS tour in Hershey, PA (2000-2001?) we had AWFUL floor seats in an outdoor arena and I RMENEBER there were chairs and people were stacking the chairs to get a better view it was a mess :crying3: and I had a hard time seeing and cried lol. Then a worker in the venue saw and kindly moved us to a better spot in the risers area so my view was perfect. I remember it was absolute chaos leaving the concert because there was all this new merchandise being sold for Oops and the line was SO long so we didn't get anything ;(

BUT THEN as we were leaving the venue, it's hard to describe the parking situation we were in but the lot was much smaller than it is now so we had to park on this grassy hill. It was kind of a trek to get to. And all of the sudden a bus rolls by and britney and one of her dancers opened the window saying hi and waving and I think I was in shock but my mom was going CRAZY lol she was like HEY BRITNEY HEYY BRITNEY!!! And she was like shaking me lol. It was so neat because it was just us she did it to. We were the only ones around. I was such a stan. I had all her albums that I played to death and I remember all her VMA performances live (inc. 2007 - that was very sad for me to sit through). I had tshirts, hit clips, britney and her moms book Heart to Heart that I also wore out from reading all the time lol. I remember her interviews like with Diane Sawyer and feeling kind of worried for her even though I was still very young, and even more worried when she got married for 55 hours. I just loved her - I still do - I thought she was my sister. She definitely shaped my childhood and I am so blessed I got to have a performer like her growing up that I felt this sisterly connection to. She inspired me throughout my life and I started dancing when I was 8 because I wanted to be like her, and continued dancing until I was 19 (knee injury ensued). I love her and its hard to picture a world for me where she's not in it because she was so influential.

Ok I'm done :crying3:

She caught my attention with baby one more time but sometimes was the song that made me a fan and some years later she became my obsession with the slave video.

Sometimes is my favorite Britney song to this day. I love it. And the music video. :)

Oh my gosh, that is so awesome. I'm so jealous that you got to see her in person back then and she said hi to you. I wish I could have met old school Britney. :crying1:

I didn't really like Britney until her meltdown. I felt bad for her and didnt even know she released music around that time :gloria:

Then a couple of years ago I heard Womanizer on the radio and thought oh this singer is amazing!!! So then I became a fan. :)

Hi Everyone :thirsty::) .I started listening to Godney when it was playing ον Mtv the music video of "Oops I Did It Again" and "Toxic"and when i first saw my sister listen to her on youtube and i was slayed from then until now, i remember asking my sister what Oopss I Did it again mean(I'm not a native speaker of the English language).I am from Greece.I can't say that i don't like one of Britney's albums because i fucking love them all :sorrynotsorry::wahlykeomg::Godney: .Unti now i try to learn the Britney's dance moves. Also there was sometimes that i just wanted to quit everything, but Britney was here giving me strength ,teach me how to become a strong person and learn me that you can fall but you must stand up,I felt sorry and sad for her in 2007 but i'm happy that has overcome this obstacle and have become a great mom and singer.I must say that my love for her is in a level where i love her for her music but even more for her personality.I'm truly stan and my dream is to see Britney face to face.Without a doubt the Legendary Miss Britney Spears was a really good role model for me and shaped my personality :o:crying5::yesplz:
