I mean what are they expecting?... 10m+ sales?...

They could give us a few teasers on Instagram, tell us more about the process and what is happening. Even a promo single if they wanted to...

Tbh, i don't understand why they are always so secretive, they need to hype people, seriously. It won't help Britney to just ignore the fans, and then when the single is about to be out, just being like "surprise is coming ! #prepareyourcreditcards" :orangu:

I get they don't want anything to leak, but there's absolutely nothing wrong with keeping the fans aware, like saying if the album is going well, saying random tweets like "just recorded a song, album is going well" etc., sharing pictures of her in studio here and there.. ya know.

We know she's recording an album it's not like it was a secret so at least share what is going on, show you're interested and excited for it, do somethin' ! :gloria:

EXACTLY

Their idea of "hype" is to just not say anything and leave us all confused and not have a clue what's going on which doesn't work.

A 10 second clip on Instagram of a song... a song title, a tweet like you said about being in the studio, mention some producers. THAT is how you hype something.

We can't be hyped about something we know nothing about :gloria:

I've given up trying to figure out their decisions....or lack of them. :entertainme:

Their secretive ways are a bit odd considering being silent until just before an album is released isn't the best way to be successful. If Britney wants to sell a lot this time, she's going to have to maintain some a pretty high level of relevancy even before official promo charts. But I have a feeling she doesn't care about sales and her team is still stuck in 2003 with their marketing strategy. So....... :no1curr:

Well we aren't sure what stage they are in with the album. And after the response of Britney Jean from fans, im pretty sure they are making sure everything is right before they give fans a sneak peak, to ensure a positve response

So? I've been following Loreen's album for like 2 years now (:gloria:) and I'm so hyped I can't even begin.

She's done everything I've mentioned like Instagraming songs, talking about the album, she even performed two new songs early last year. THAT IS HYPE.

This ! Their methods is soooo old. We aren't in 2000 anymore, they need to be more on social media. It's cool to share pictures and videos with her family, but come on, we are her fans not her family we want news about her work too.

But that's the problem, we don't know anything ! If at least they just didn't ignore us like they're doing, we would know at what stage the album is !

I agree with all of you. She could post some studio-time photos on instagram, she could even perform a new song in acoustic (instead of Perfume :pieceofwhat: )

even some sweet picture of her in the studio reading the lyrics to a new song or something, I would die :crying3:

Understandable, but why aren't we making a big deal about this on other social media? When fans of artist want something, they get together and do facebook, twitter, the whole works to get info, but they work together. This fan base is divided right now, if we all came together and made post on facebook, twitter pages and all of that, we would get media attention and that would mean Britney's attention. We have to do more than a few tweets and post on this site. We can make as many "Where is B9?" post on here but they won't be seen. We have to band together and get her teams attention if we want to be heard, not just sit here and wait , then whine and moan. Want B9? Lets show them on a big scale that were ready!

We have :gloria:

There's been about 5 Twitter trends the past month or so. There's one trying to happen now.

I remember things were trending on twitter recently tho, yet nothing happened. They WON'T say anything, period. It's their method, they work like that, there's nothing we can do. They won't change a thing, and won't tell a thing until it's 2 or 1 week before it's out, end of story.

If I was Britney's manager ugh, every day I go through my plan for what I would suggest to her and it would be amazing for both her and fans :(

This made me think what did they do before the internet and social media to promote and keep us "in the know" because at the beginning of her career there wasn't any twitter or instagram to show us she was in the studio. I think we have just gotten really spoiled lol

I don't know but tbh I don't want this "this album is going to be personal!" and give away that kinda stuff and then BJ came along and was totally not what they said... I feel like this is safe so the fans aren't ticked off that they backtracked their words. But that being said, nothing wrong with posting a photo or two. Maybe they are worried someone will leak the album? No clue but it's really kinda annoying.

I wish she'd do an interview or something about her upcoming album.

It's as simple as

THERE IS NO FUCKING ALBUM YET. THERE'S NOTHING TO TALK ABOUT.

There is though... and she's already posted one picture of her in the studio. There's the Moroder song she hasn't said anything about either.

I think Britney likes to get a mysterious atmosphere to make us more excited.

And, if she talks about something and it finally doesn't make the final cut, like the "Blackout 2.0" tweet, she will be attacked for post it.

I prefer it this way. She doesn't want to play with us.

Really? I think it would be more interesting to see how the album changes

They like to surprise us and keep us talking like what we are doing now ... Simple as that .

I mean it's not that big of a deal when u are expecting somethin , because you already know it's coming . However a surprise keeps us wondering , desperate , keeps us wanting to know more about it , & mainly keeps us talking .

It may keep us talking but it's not exactly positive is it? And no one else is talking about it? :blackoutsmiley:

As I said before, we can't talk and get hyped over something we know nothing about. The only thing we get is false hope which leads to disapointment e.g Britney Jean.

And we don't know if something is coming. We might be getting an album in 2016 for all we know.

I'm not excited if i don't even know what is going on tbh, i was excited when she actually talked about it during the Intimate collection promo interviews, but i lost the hype i had since then because it's been 4months we had no news about it.

And by keeping us aware doesn't especially mean saying detailed infos like what it will sounds like, what it will be like or whatever. But just posting a picture of her in studio, or saying she just left recording studio, or she had a good day recording some songs etc.. At least to know what is going on, i don't see what's wrong by posting a picture or saying things like that, this can't hurt or disappoint anyone. I don't want to know what the album is about, i just want to know what is going on.

i think social media has spoiled the whole mystery and excitement for new things now. an instagramed photo or two from the studio wouldn't hurt (and i love that she did do that back in september) but tweeting lyrics or videos and some of the other things mentioned in this thread would be too much for me. i like that they aren't rushing to tell us every single time britney steps foot in the studio, it keeps the suspense and interest going, for me at least
