I thought Gaga wrote the song for Britney or to be distributed, and then when it was turned down she decided to use it? I could be wrong...this is what I vaguely remember hearing back when the other demo came out

no, the autotune was the demo for circus. they thought about a collab and that's where this track came from. then gaga did her own and did it with Bey.
