Next Meltdown Won't Be Britney's Fault

I know the anticipation for Album 9 is reaching a boiling point but like one other post said, stop believing these so called "insiders" and rumors about the album. Britney herself said back in September the album was going to take time. I know for some of you, POM isn't cutting it, but we have to be patient. And I'm sorry, but if you buy into the rumors, you all have no one to blame but yourselves, not Britney. This time, every meltdown that is caused won't be because of what Britney did or what Britney said. There's no talk from her because maybe there isn't much to talk about. Who knows, i could be wrong, but if Britney and her team not saying anything frustrates some of you, imagine how frustrated you'll be when believing rumors that are just that, rumors. This fanbase has suffered enough because of false information, and yes, the change direction of Britney Jean can be placed on team britney, but everything else was by someone outside the army or someone trolling the army and it has done nothing but rip us all apart. We need to start sticking together and finding common ground with each other instead of bickering and fighting all the time. The first place to start which is as good as any, is to keep the rumors and bull out of here. Were called the B-Army for a reason, what army do you know wins by fighting, bickering, dissing their leader and having meltdowns all because of gossip and lost hope? Wake Up People!!!

I'm on the fence on the whole Iggy thing because she said in the interview she had to meet with Britney to talk about the single and make things final. But what i meant was all these no named sources who keep saying they know what the album is gonna be like and everything and getting everyone all worked up

All I got to say is when it comes it comes that's all, I'm sick of the rumors it's just messing with ppls heads , I fell for a bunch of them like a dumbass tbh but not no more cuz I need receipts now lol.... No, being serious, it's true, we can't expect anything because we haven't had any kind of confirmation. Only the Giorgio Moroder collaboration, which could be just 2 verses, who knows, and which we haven't had a confirmation by team Britney, and the Iggy one, which she said was coming at the beginning of the year, and that could mean the first 3 months or so. And even if Iggy was telling the truth, plans can change at the last minute, so we have to wait and not build high expectations that we're getting it next week or so.

As you say, with BJ, it was Britney and Larry and all of them talking about how personal tha album was going to be, and the most urban and stuff, so it was their fault that many fans had a meltdown (I loved BJ anyway). But this time I think her team and herself will play it safe, and won't talk about it until the album is about to come out (or at least I hope so). Also, I wish people like Danja or William Orbit or any other producer/writer don't say things about songs rejected or demos or stuff because that only makes things worse. They should wait until the album comes out and then start leaking demos But we can't control that. So, yeah, we should just stick to the facts and don't believe in rumors, because it will be our fault if we get disappointed with B9

I agree 100%. Nothing bothers me more than when some people freak out over an "insider's" information not being true or whatever. I don't believe anything unless Britney or someone else actually reliable confirms anything and that has lead to minimal disappointment, with the exception of BJ which is their own fault, so when I see meltdowns like that I just think why you know? However I do like speculation, because I think it's fun but people have to remember that speculation is just that, speculation, and if it doesn't turn out to be true then oh well.
