Britney has restrictions that the big mags won't accept. They don't care if Brit is relax and in the mood for a interview and photoshoot. They want control. Which is understandable but so is Britney needing assurances.

This. For example, her interview for Vanity Fair during the promotional push for Circus likely fall apart because of this: her team wants complete control over what is said and asked, VF doesn't play by those rules. As long as her team continues to heavily restrict what is asked, Britney won't be granting interviews outside of women's health and the occasional fashion spread magazine where the topic is more about her body then baring her soul. Which is her prerogative, of course, but her interviews have become very monotonous that she might as well not do them. At least she still provides great pics.

Both her Elle from 2012 and her Instyle for BJ had great interviews. I'm glad we have them. Re read both :) Out and V were great in 2011 as well.

I think it's the pictures that are the weak end of things. They are gorgeous but not bold like some of her great ones. Britney is a more reserved person.

@@tarotx I'm going have to because I don't recall them at all yet I can remember the pictures for each especially V magazine (the one with her staring directly into the camera is one of my all time faves and should have been the cover for Femme Fatale). I didn't like her interview with Out because all of her answers were via email... which is suspect. But, again, memorable pictures for me.

Out and V were beautiful pictures but overly edited or just nit picked. (Though I wish FF used the V pictures). Which is the other problem I was thinking of when talking about the pictures being the problem. FF dud use email a lot though and did cause some issues that still affect her ability to get a big cover.Imo.

I doubt they'll ask her about shaving her head and losing custody of her kids, though. :orangu:

It'll probably be a bit more "open" than what we have now, but most of the time, even those mags kiss the asses of whoever is on the cover. Their teams also probably pre-approves questions.

I don't know either what's up with that..but probably she wants it that way.

I want her in Harpers Bazaar, Vogue, In Style, etc. But actually she is missing out on being in magazines period. In every magazine there are style, makeup sections with details on celebs but she is never on them because -being a humble godney like she is- she doesn't dress up. Sometimes i wish she was a little more into red carpet appearances and her look because that gives her more exposure and that is free promo to the GP, one of the reasons people say she is not relevant anymore is because you dont see her that often in magazines, blogs and social media compared to other celebs.

She's pretty active in social media, which I like.

She doesn't need to dress up for candids... She just needs to up it for relevant events (NOT the People's Choice Awards :zoomzoom: ).

I actually don't find her red carpet fashion bad and she doesn't have to be at every awards show... She just needs to be at the relevant ones like the VMAs, Grammy's and AMAs. AT LEAST those 3. And now that she has her own fashion line, she should try the Met Ball, too.
