News Posted January 12, 2015 #1 Report Posted January 12, 2015 Billboard created a list of songs that were the best songs of 2010 and of course Britney's hit single "Til the World Ends" made it at #16 on the list. "Til The World Ends" finds Britney Spears spending her last moments awaiting the apocalypse by provoking movement: her seduction seeps in and makes the listener twitch, while a faceless chorus bellows behind her and clamors for gyration. The single makes its audience wait a full two minutes and 35 seconds before unveiling its euphoric chorus, which reaches toward the heavens and declares that, if the world is about to end, that shouldn't stop anyone from having a good time. For years, Britney fans had been yearning for a dance floor scorcher as potent as "Til The World Ends," and when it arrived in early 2011, pop fans rightly declared that it was worth the wait. -Billboard Everyone had the song blasting through our speakers when it came out. Congrats Britney! Read it on our mainsite!
Archie Posted January 12, 2015 #2 Report Posted January 12, 2015 Except the song was released in 2011
Mr American Dream Posted January 12, 2015 #3 Report Posted January 12, 2015 Yay. The song and MV that made me a stan back in 2011. Great times and the song is really iconic, despite the controversy about the autotune and double body thing at the beginning. One of my favourite songs of hers. Great job, Britney, Max Martin and Dr. Luke!
Mr American Dream Posted January 12, 2015 #4 Report Posted January 12, 2015 Just checked the article. They wrote 2010s as a decade not 2010 as a year. 1
Archie Posted January 12, 2015 #5 Report Posted January 12, 2015 Just checked the article. They wrote 2010s as a decade not 2010 as a year. Just checked that too I thought it was the year
ValetGirls Posted January 12, 2015 #6 Report Posted January 12, 2015 Slay TTWE! The FF remix also ranked at #72 on the ruling indie critic site Pitchfork's Top 100 Tracks of 2011, their review saying ""Till the World Ends" was already the best Britney single since "Toxic", an ecstatic Euroclub floor-filler about wanting to dance until the world ends and other important matters," citing Nicki Minaj's "45 second evisceration" and new breakdown as great additions. TTWE ranked higher on the list than songs from popular indie artists like Washed Out, Cults, Grimes and Three Oh Sees (not to mention established acts like Kendrick Lamar and Kelly Rowland)

I_need_me Posted January 17, 2015 #24 Report Posted January 17, 2015 Till The World Ends is such an anthem. Everyone can sing it whether they know the lyrics or not, and if it plays at a party everyone will dance like crazy! I think it deserves to be more remembered by the general public and the fans
