btmyhbrit99 Posted January 13, 2015 #1 Report Posted January 13, 2015 So this may be a bit confusing but I'll try to break it down. I've been a fan since her debut and when I think about her discography I break it down into eras of 3 albums. BOMT,OIDIA,Britney ITZ, GH, BO Circus, FF, BJ Each era has its own progression thats feeds into the next era and so on. I think the first era is all about love and sexual discovery. The second era is about growing up through the party and the last era is aboutmatyrijg gaining control.
Matiti Posted January 13, 2015 #3 Report Posted January 13, 2015 I always think in 4 eras. (Baby, oops) (Britney, itz) (Blackout, circus) (Ff, bj)
MadDennis Posted January 13, 2015 #4 Report Posted January 13, 2015 I always think in 4 eras. (Baby, oops) (Britney, itz) (Blackout, circus) (Ff, bj) I agree with you, that's how I see the eras too, but @btmyhbrit99's idea isn't bad either.
JoshLee Posted January 13, 2015 #5 Report Posted January 13, 2015 I see it as BOMT, OIDIA, Britney (sound the same) ITZ, BO, Circus (sound the same) FF, BJ (sound the same) 1
Matiti Posted January 13, 2015 #6 Report Posted January 13, 2015 I agree with you, that's how I see the eras too, but @btmyhbrit99's idea isn't bad either. I never think it in that way but i think it is accurated in terms of personality and media issues. The pther classidication is in terms of music and image

Nelli Gaidai Posted January 14, 2015 #11 Report Posted January 14, 2015 for me, it's baby and oops (innocent, perfect girly girl, discovering life) then, britney and itz (bad bitch, her best time of life. she has found herself and overcame her struggles) then chaioticney and blackout (the hard times strike her life but she handles them with grace) circus and for the record (the worst times strike, her rebirth begins, its a tough road but its there) and femme fatale (still struggling to get on her feet again but only doing better) i think because bj was such a short era, i count it with the upcoming one. but it does remind me of circus and femme fatale ( and this era, best she's been since breakdown)
Mr.Photographer Posted January 15, 2015 #12 Report Posted January 15, 2015 Well how could you count the GH as a part of the "2nd era of albums" if its a compilation of the 1st 3 albums I always saw it as her having 2 parts in her career pre & post breakdown (kind of) BOMT= Circus Oops= FF Britney= BJ (which they didn't successfully pull off bit in a sense could have been it if done right) ITZ= B9 Blackout= B10 Then the cycle is complete
