So this may be a bit confusing but I'll try to break it down.

I've been a fan since her debut and when I think about her discography (only talking about the songs and their content not so much the production, nor her performance skills, promotion and real life activities) I break it down into eras of 3 albums:

1.BOMT,OIDIA,Britney

2.ITZ, GH:MP (just the bonus songs), BO

3.Circus, FF, BJ

Each era has its own progression that feeds into the next era. I think the first era is all about love and sexual discovery. The second era is about growing up through partying & sex and the last era is about maturing and gaining control and acceptance.

I wonder if this is done intentionally by her and her team or if it just happened that the songs progress this way. Do you see it similarly or not?

Yeah it's true

for me it's BOMT,OIDIA, Britney- 'Perfect pop starney

ITZ, MP;GH, BO - Growing up and finding her feetney

Circus, FF, BJ - simply just post breakdowney (I just feel a bit off a disconnect)

Wonder what the next era brings? I have no expectations :smokeney:

Guys, what if B9 is going to be the new Original Doll????

Im scared.. we haven't heard anything official about the album after the lingerie promo ended. :(

I doubt it. But I do think and hope that B9 is an important album for her.

They probably scrapped what she wanted and made her redo it :4music:

Well we haven't even gotten to the end of January yet and the rumor was that the single was coming this month or at least the first quarter of the year. Be patient.

But anyway thanks for answering my original question.

I feel it that way too. :mhm:

Probably now we'll get something like, Brightest Morning Star kind of songs :oya: Jk :thatsfunny:

I don't want to get too excited saying something like, with this new album we're gonna get a fierce Britney, with breakup kind of songs but now with the maturity of a grown up woman. For some reason I don't think she'll change that much from the last 3 albums. I really wonder what's next. She's done the cute songs, the sexy ones, the party songs and club bangers. Now what? She tried to make all that in BJ, but we know how that ended up :oshit: I think she needs to come out with a new concept this time, but I don't know...

My money says that she's going to swing more towards vibey, chill dance with rock/ac pop tinged elements. Probably like Alien, Passenger's intro, Criminal, HABTLM and hopefully something different that we haven't heard from her yet.

I want something new :mhm: And yeah, I wish it has some rock influences, without letting pop behind :yaknow:
