When it comes to our girl Britney she is always a leader, never a follower. It seems that Britney's hair trend is back from her Oops I did it again era. According to Asos Iggy Azalea and Illy Lussiano keep rocking Britney's hair style:

You definitely remember the red PVC kick-flare onesie but does Britney Spears' hair-as-hair band, sleek at the front, backcombed to the max at the back Oops! I Did It Again hair ring any noughties bells? The YouTube not-even-embarrassed classic is definitely on repeat for these girls who are bringing it back as a fresh-for-now hair trend to try. Move over baby curls, Brit-Brit's babein' hurr is everything.

Britney's hair in music videos is a wealth of hairspo waiting to be tapped: marabou pigtails in …Baby One More Time, wet-look mousse curls in I'm A Slave 4 U… endless amazingness. The beauty of the Oops! I Did It Again 'do is that it's easy to style yourself, you don't need a ton of hair products and it's a banging going-out option. Here's how to get in on the Ms Spears action...

NYC hairstylist Illy Lussiano (check out our interview and baby buns masterclass with her here) is the ultimate Instagram follow for up-to-the-second hair trends. We spotted her Britney-fying art director Dani Phae (who's pulling some serious 'I'm not that innocent' eyes).  Wanna know how to get the look?  1. Centre-part your hair halfway along your hairline, slicking down any flyaways with wet-look mousse and securing behind your ears. 2. Backcomb the hair at your crown and secure with hairspray.

After her performance at the 2015 People's Choice Awards in LA, Iggz did 'a Britney', making it look srsly sleek for a mega-watt event. Sassy, super-easy and glam? Time to make noughties Britney hair your pm go-to.

Britney's look always come back! No matter what era! All hail the Queen of Trend!
